I can say that this seems to help things heal. However the price has gone up on it so bad I try to use it very sparingly. Maybe too sparingly because you have to use enough to have an effect. I also will add that I do not use this as a disinfectant for wounds. I don't know if the herbs in it have enough or any disinfectant properties. I like to use triple antibiotic cream first. But to make wounds heal I go for this stuff. I wish this hasn't gone up so much in price though. Soon it will not be worth it.

I love it. I use it very often. If I feel itchy, I use it. If my son got bitten, I will use it. It seems working so well for small kids.

Let me start by saying that I'm not a huge fan of Burt's Bees products. I am all for using natural products, although something being natural isn't necessarily a guarantee that it will work well (tree bark is natural, but I don't want to wash my face with it).That said, I am a real fan of the Res-q Ointment. I am not fond of the strong lavender oil odor, but I will tolerate it when something works this well. Skin irritations heal quickly, and I've had especially good results using the product on dermatitis. The skin rashes and fissures heal and close much quicker when I use this product. It's not a miracle cure-all, of course, but it does what it is supposed to do very well.Each little tin lasts quite a long time, so you are getting a good deal with the 4 pack. I hope it works well for you.

I’ve used this for quite a few different ailments, but have used this quite a bit for chafing from long hikes. Literally overnight repair and recovery, good to go.

I always keep a tin in my purse and one on my dresser. Besides soothing and healing burns and scrapes, I have used it as a cuticle softener, under-eye serum, sun burn remedy, the list goes on. I have given it to many people who also end up using it in a myriad of ways. And it smells lovely too!

This product works to calm my skin on my hands even at its worst. I am amazed that this product works so well after years of others, some prescription. One star off for the ridiculous tiny tin! I leave it only partially closed because otherwise it is too hard to open. Have any of these folks given this package to someone elderly or disabled? I'm not and I have struggled. Burt's Bees can and should do better than this inaccessible packaging! But thanks for a great product.
