Thought I'd save a few bucks by ordering in bulk but I find this product to be lumpy than others I've previously purchased. It requires lots of energy to mix it up in order to get a smooth texture. I get a sore wrist & shoulder at every feeding time! However same taste & smell.

I was advised by my pediatrician to start feeding my baby cereal to get him accustomed to the taste and texture of food. Hubby and I excitedly went out and got for him "G___" rice cereal. My poor baby was making faces while eating his rice cereal but was a pretty good sport and still swallowed. I was fed Cerelac as a baby and I decided that my baby should try some too. He was smiling and laughing while I was feeding him Cerelac. He obviously enjoyed his dinner. :-) My only concern is that the 4 pack cans expire on 10/12 and I don't know if my baby will be able to eat everything by then, since he's also taking breast milk. I wish the cans will have a later expiration date. Next time, I will just stick to the single cans. Although pricier, I will be sure there won't be any waste.

My mom said that when I was a kid they use to put this in my milk... she said it made me solid... I tried it on my son who is 15 months old to add to his daily nutrition. I put this is his toddler formula and he loves it. I know this is not the only reason he is big but I believe it has helped him. He is in the 98% of his height and weight class... considering I am only 4'9 anything I can do to make sure he grows all he can is good (dad is 5'9). I don't feed him junk food and he isn't fat but he weighs 31 lbs. Because this product contains honey I would not recommend it for children under 1 year old.

Cerelac ... babies favourite!
I ate it as a child and so did my wife, hence it was an obvious choice for us to offer to our daughter from start of her weaning. Not only did she took to it as fish to water, this has made easy for us to mix fruit and veges in puree form and offer her as meals during the day time. This is one constant snack/breakfast/meal that she enjoyed from 6 to 14 months. Absolutely recommend it.

Weaning made Easy!
I ate it as a child and so did my wife, hence it was an obvious choice for us to offer to our 6 month old daughter from start of her weaning. Not only did she took to it as fish to water, this has made easy for us to mix fruit and veges in puree form and offer her as meals during the day time. During the last month she has gone from 2 Tsp to 7 Tsp a serving and absolutely loves it. She can smell it from a distance and all but jump if she could.

I've introduced Cerelac to my daughter's diet as a first food. Now that she's 2 I'm still giving this to her specially since she decided she doesn't likes milk anymore. So, this supplement works like vitamins to replace the lack of milk. I haven't gave up trying re-introducing the milk in her diet, but in the meantime I let Cerelac to provide her with iron and other essential components. I add this product to my daughter's porridge and she just loves it.
