We all know Vicks vapor rub from our childhood. And it is just as effective today at age 75 as it was when I was 15! Yes, it is sticky and greasy to apply. I have my husband apply it and he wears disposable rubber gloves. It’s easier for him to do that. I then put on a clean white t-shirt and while the Vicks will adhere somewhat to the tshirt, you can change it if uncomfortable. Most importantly it is effective. If you’ve got a cold or any chest issues related to cold or flu, use of Vicks will go a long way to healing.

There are many home hacks for vicks. If you Christmas ornament and you have cats out so vicks on your ornaments and your friendly felina will stay away. My son face was breaking out very bad I used tons of products nothing works I applied Vicks at night to his face his face has cleared up. I would suggest do a patch test because ever face reacts different. I use it on my husband dry feet put Saran Wrap on with Vicks put his socks on next day take of the plastic he has smooth feet. The best stuff to help you breathe when you are congested
