The NOW Foods Omega-3 supplements are excellent! With 180 EPA and 120 DHA per softgel, they provide great cardiovascular support and are molecularly distilled for purity, which gives me confidence in the quality. The 200 softgel bottle is a great value and lasts a long time. They’re easy to swallow and don’t leave any unpleasant aftertaste, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for a reliable Omega-3 supplement, this is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

This is pretty good fish oil and at a great price too! I recently had a DHA/EPA test and the results showed low levels of omega-3 in my blood. I started taking two of these with breakfast every morning and I think I feel a bit more energetic than before so I believe that they are of decent quality. That being said, I started taking other vitamins as well, so it's kind of hard to tell whats doing what, but I trust this brand. Because of a bad experience with a different brand, after first opening the container, I poked one of the capsules with a toothpick to check if it smelled rancid, but it smelled only a bit fishy. Not too bad, considering that fish oil will of course naturally smell of fish, so nothing strange happening there lol... I refrigerated the container after opening it because it seemed like the right thing to do and I believe it will keep the capsules fresh for longer. I see a couple of other reviews mentioning how this fish oil can eat through styrofoam. If you do your research you'll find that, bizarre as it may be, this is a completely normal/natural chemical reaction and that all forms of fish oils, "ethyl esters" and "triglycerides," will eat through styrofoam due to its high concentration of omega-3 and whats called, "strength of polarity." Polarity describes the electric charge of certain molecules. It occurs for the same reason that salt dissolves in water and not in oil. The molecules in styrofoam and fish oil, not unlike salt and water, are of the same electric charge, either by both substances interacting being made up of "polar compounds" or "non-polar compounds" and allowing them to combine. Interesting stuff, but definitely not dangerous or "hydrochloric acid" like one of the other reviewers stated... The most harm these may do is give you heartburn or aggravate pre-existing conditions such as gerd or gastritis, although, because omega-3 fatty acids are polyunsaturated fats, omega-3 is also known to help prevent heart disease and other health issues, so I guess it's a bit contradictory in that sense lol.

This is my first time buying/trying fish oil supplements. I read great reviews on this brand and gave it a try. I'm only one week in so I can't really vouch for the full effects but I can for quality, freshness, and taste.When I received them they were room temp so they did have sort of "smell" but it wasn't overpowering or foul. It smelled normal to me.I did read several comments of people saying to put them in the freezer to help aid in digestion without "fishy burps" but I took my first dose while still at room temp and had none of that. I did put them in my fridge though to keep them fresh longer. I don't know if it's required but for my peace of mind I decided to.Like I said I am only one week in and im only taking 2 in the A.M. to get my body used to them, and then I will start the other 2 in the P.M. as well. So far I have had zero negative effects, no weird taste or burps, no foul gas or upset stomach.I don't know if it's supposed to do this but I do feel like it slightly raises my body temp for a bit which I do weirdly enjoy bc I feel like with that it also gives me a bit of energy.I do feel less bloated and gassy, and have a bit more brain clarity. It also seems like it helps me feel less anxiety and brings my mood up.With or without them being cold I didn't get any nasty taste. Easy to swallow even though they are a larger supplement.So far i am very satisfied and will continue.

I have had lower back pain for decades. I was taking more Motrin than I liked. I decided to stop the Motrin entirely and just tough it out. Then I started taking Omega 3 fish oil. After a few weeks my back was noticeably better. After several months my back is much better and I have not had the need to take anything else for the inflammation. I am in my mid 60’s and still work hard at times picking up and carrying loads of 50 to a 100 pounds. I highly recommend this product.

It's fish oil, what else can be said except these capsules do not have a fishy smell but if you get indigestion you will definitely smell the fish oil. I taker it for my heart since I have been diagnosed with heart failure. Dr. will fill me in on whether it is working at next apt. I'm pleased with the purchase and I received it quickly. No complaints really so far. As of today I would buy again.
