5.0 out of 5 stars Great customer service
I received the product and put in a newly charged ebl battery. Charger showed full charge and product did not work. I set up a return and reorder. I got my replacement in 2 days and repeated the same process. Again product did not work. I grabbed an Bolo basics aa battery and it worked fine. Tried the first one and it worked as well. I use this for fly tying and it beats burning my fingers with a lighter or hot bodkin. I have used these the last few days liked them alot and will keep both.
5.0 out of 5 stars So handy
Works well easy to use
1.0 out of 5 stars Only works half the time.
I got this to cut fireline and other similar threads and I hate it. It's very cheaply made, and only gets just hot enough to cut the thread (when it works). The button is terrible. The only way I can think of to describe it is it feels spongy? There is no distinct click to let you know the mechanism has actuated, which doesn't matter if the devise works every time you press the button. But as the title of this review states, it doesn't. I found myself having to push the button multiple times or changing the way I hold it just to get the tip to heat up. Also you have to hold the thread quite tight to get it to cut through which isn't always easy when trimming the ends off of a project.Over all, it's not worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for beaders.
Love this. Not only cuts thread, you can melt the end of Fireline or Wildfire threads into a little ball so that the end doesn't slip out of place in beadwork. I have two (one upstairs, one downstairs).
4.0 out of 5 stars Works good but be careful
If you press hard on the switch you can foul the switch. don't allow the stitch to touch anything when you put it away too.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent!
Easy to use and seals the threads quickly

I love this tool
3.0 out of 5 stars Very Cheap but works...ish
This is very cheaply put together. Mine did not work out of the box and took some fiddling to get to work properly. I am mechanically minded so wasn't a big deal but take note if you are not. There is a small metal washer/batter connect at the bottom that wasn't seated right and as a result the battery (not included) was not making contact. This is very flimsy and with a little moisture/gunk will undoubtedly fail. The same metal washer/connect is used for the on/off contact, which was also not connecting to the heating element. I bent it around a little bit and now works fine. On/Off switch is terrible. Do not idly set it down on your desk. Takes next to no pressure to turn it on, has no light to warn you its on, and has no safety.Works but very cheap.
Great product
Works great. Much easier to burn the ends of the threads with this device.
Funcional
Está súper funcional , es resistente y cómodo de usar . Solo que las pilas se le van un poco rápido , de preferencia que sean buenas
Pratica
Per il momento soddisfatta e fa egregiamente il suo lavoro, vediamo con il tempo
Great Tool
Works exceptionally well.
l'outil nécessaire !
Ce truc est d'une utilité extraordinaires quand on fabrique des choses à base de laine, de fil acrylique, etc.. plus précis et pratique qu'un briquet qui parfois ruine tout un montage ! vous en avez besoin !
