Great start to my day!
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful experience
I love my Moka pot. It keeps my espresso habit at a very inexpensive cost value. I stumbled on this type of Illy espresso (made especially for the Moka pot). It is coarser than the grind you'd find for a real machine. I first found the Illy brand in the airport in Germany and the line was long. I now understand why.It also has that classic Illy taste. Not too much bite or bitterness. The Illy espresso is 100% arabica beans made from producing countries. It is very smooth. One added bonus, I can take the grinds out to my garden to help my soil. By using the Moka pot, I cut down on the amount of waste (from filters, pods or capsules)This espresso made with a Moka pot, coupled with a milk frother unit and you can have the ultimate value in espresso or cappuccino at home! The shipping took a while, but it was free and the Illy standard of packing the espresso in Nitrogen keeps the grinds away from oxidation. The smell when it is first opened is wonderful!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Italian Coffee
Love this Italian espresso coffee.
5.0 out of 5 stars use Moka grind in your moka pot!
after a trip to italy, I purchased a Moca pot for preparation of espresso. I wasn’t thrilled with the results using the recommended Lilly brand. but......I had not noticed that lilly sells different grinds of espresso. I ordered moka grind from Bolo since I couldn’t find it locally. Wow.... what a difference. the resulting coffee is more flavorful and slightly sweeter than the espresso made from the other grind. now I love my Moka pot and my morning espresso.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great coffee in lousy can needing a little coarser grind
Two major problems. Like most customers, can defective. Tab broke off without opening and devil of a time opening can. Still, mine had a lid, unlike many people's. That is awful quality control Illy must fix. Plus my Bialetti Moka Express 6 cup says the moka grind should be just a little coarser to avoid clogging even though I do not tap grounds.Still, ordering it again and probably will subscribe. In taste, this Illy moka is the absolute best for me.Everyone has different tastes and I found Illy Intenso bitter and unpleasant while Illy Classico Drip and Classico Expresso grind just not intended for moka.I have my very own moka drink. Like a cafe breve but my own variation. I use a 12 oz double walled glass cup. That is very important. Pour full 6-cup moka pot coffee in it. Add 1 oz foamed half and half on top. Double walled cup keeps the brew warm for 30 minutes. Slowly, the foam dissolves, changing the flavor from pleasantly strong to mellow. Makes every cup a multi-experience. And not too many calories. 1 oz half and half =1 oz half and half, period. Ideal while watching TV or reading at end of day but also good for a leisurely breakfastThe Illy Classico for moka pot is perfect for that drink. Subtle chocolate overtones at first that blossom through the experience without sacrifice to the unique strength of this Illy blend of Arabica.

5.0 out of 5 stars So easy to make too
This coffee, made in the Bialetti, is delicious! So rich. So easy to make too. I don't want to name names, but (welp, here it comes) Keurigs can't compete. Now that I have a Bialetti and a french press in hand, I feel like a coffee master. And I can sleep at night knowing these are much less wasteful! WIN WIN!
