5.0 out of 5 stars Pure Maple Syrup in Home Made Granola
I make my own granola trying hard to keep it healthy as possible. Since it only has a few ingredients, it is important they taste good. Recipe enough to last a few weeks: 1 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1 1/3 cup Butternut Mountain Farm Vermont Pure Maple Syrup, 1/4 cup of vanilla, 2 cups of apple sauce (I use my own non-sugared canned apple, pear or whatever that replaces the oil usually used), 20 cups of old fashion oats, 8 cups of chopped almonds and 8 cups of either raisins or cranraisins. Bake at 325 degrees for 40-45 minutes. I fill two gallon sized glass jars with a bit more left over for a plastic bag. Mix the sugar, syrup, sauce and vanilla then toss in oats then nuts and raisins. Takes a really large bowl. Spray your cooking pans and don't pile the large pans too high. You want crispy granola. I do four commercial bake pans full with 8 cups of mix in each pan baking two at a time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy
I looooove maple syrup. These days it's an acquired taste with all the garbage sugar syrups on the shelf that lends itself to the younger generation. This is good for long term storage, it'll never go bad, even if opened. If there is mold on the top after years of storage of an open container, you can remove it too.I have no preference on brand, this one seemed to fit the bill. Tasty!
5.0 out of 5 stars Thick good flavored syrup
Small quantity for the price, but more concentrated than store brand,so you may use less. Good flavor!I would buy this again but in bigger size.
3.0 out of 5 stars Little bottle
I like the product but not the size it’s tiny. I blame myself I should have paid attention to the size when I purchased it.
5.0 out of 5 stars A fair price for an outstanding syrup.
If you can't get it from Canada, then Vermont is the place to get maple syrup and this particular offering was divine! It's sweet but balanced, thick and glistening in a lovely amber color. So far I've tried it on my eggs and on my pancakes and it has elevated this simple but classic breakfast into a delicious experience. I will most certainly purchase this sweet nectar from the Maple tree again.
4.0 out of 5 stars Delicious Of Course
It is exactly what it says it is. Vermont pure maple syrup. Excellent product quality however the price is a little high for the volume of product. But if you want true Vermont syrup its a decent deal.
5.0 out of 5 stars REAL Vermont Maple Syrup - tasty dark amber style!
This Butternut Mountain Farm Pure Maple Syrup is made in Vermont, USA, and is the finest quality! It is Grade A dark amber, which is tastier and has a deeper maple flavor than the lighter Grade A's, but it is NOT strong like the Grade B is. In fact, its JUST RIGHT, IMO, whether you use it on hot cereal, hot cakes, waffles, ice cream, or whatever. This is a pint jug and it goes pretty fast around our house, so you might want to buy a couple! Recommended!
1.0 out of 5 stars I didn't like this product at all
I have been buying Maple Syrup for several years and this is the worst one I have ever bought. It is much thinner than what I am used to and lacks a good flavor. I would not buy it again. It was kind of pricey for the amount that was in the bottle.
