As a beginning watercolor artist this is a decent quality watercolor paper for me to learn about painting. It holds a nice amount of water, good texture for the medium.

The thickness is wonderful, it with as intended, colors are vibrant even with our palette of watercolor vs higher quality paints. This is definitely best for intermediate painters but still perfectly useable for all types like myself.I use this with my prek daughter in our homeschool art set up . Tip: We go through a lot of paper so i always cut it up into 4 sheets to help with waste. This also is cost effective, as this paper goes fairly quick.

Hey! I just ordered this paper and I enjoy it! It makes the watercolor look vibrant and amazing. I am new to watercolor and was able to make this little piece. I am very happy with this paper it is worth it. (I cut the paper to make little pieces so I could get more pieces which are small and easy to make little paintings) If you're new to watercolors you should get this paper. But I can't say anything if its good or bad for professionals.

The paper itself is awesome, however it looks like someone drove over it with a forklift or something. Dirt all over it. Can't return it because I need it for a class. Jeez, who would box it up that way?

lives up to expectations. this brand has always worked well for me, this being no exception. it doesn’t come with much paper, so if you make a lot of watercolor paintings you should buy more, but for the occasional painter or someone just starting and possibly unsure if they’ll commit to it, this is a good option.

As a beginner at watercolours I find this paper brilliant. Love the textured paper and really pleased with how I can get different paint textures effortlessly. Would recommend. I've just ordered my second pad.
