5.0 out of 5 stars Best brief I’ve found! …. CORRECTION-UPDATE!!!
The only issue is I do add a bit of extra tape AS the adhesive tab, which is adhered to the brief does have a tendency to come off for some reason?? A small price to pay for all the other bonuses these briefs have. Comfort, absorbs better than any other I have found in the last five years of caring for my parent. Extra cushion on the bum is 1000% awesomeness. Long trips, overnight …. Covers all issues that comes along with incontinence Issues.***** UPDATE*****Abrena states only the packaging has recently changed. I must say the product itself HAS definitely changed, not for the better. The absorbency is definitely not as good, thinker and the putter layer is not as waterproof. The cost has skyrocketed too!I have now started using a different brand also from the same country as Abrena! It’s cheaper than Abrena and basically what Abrena was before all of the changes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Super absorbent and my favorite brief
I hope my review can help you decide whether this product is worth a try. As a special needs Momma I appreciate being able to read about others experiences with products. I have a 12 year old with medical needs that require ‘diapers’. We love these. These are pricey, but they can take overnight use and not leak - which saves me money and time in not having to deal with wet sheets and pajamas. They are great on super sensitive skin. They are ‘quiet’ and have a slim profile for a high absorbency brief. I also love that you can refasten the briefs - extra sticky tab built on top of the tabs. For reference my son is medium build, 4’10” and about 85 pounds. This size fits well and has a bit of room to grow.
4.0 out of 5 stars An awesome underwear with one serious flaw
When it comes to managing incontinence, I want a product I can trust. I could technically use other kinds of protection, but I want to spend less time worrying about something silly and more time enjoying my life. There are a lot of good things with Abena Slip. Even with maximum absorbency, they are pretty discreet, quiet, and cost effective. Seriously even my wife can't tell I'm wearing them even though she knows very well that I need them. Which is why they are my daily drivers and I end up wearing between 3 to 5 every day.I know they wont leak that's of course one of the most important thing for a product like this but unfortunately many competitors miss the mark on that one.During the day, I can do anything I want, even hiking, without limitations and with their comfortable fit they give me confidence in any situation. They allow me to focus on what's really important. And at night, they provide me better, more restful nights of sleep. Now there is one bad thing, and honestly it's quite bad. I was really torn between giving 3 or 4 stars, but for all the reasons above-mentioned, I think these underwear are so important for my freedom that it wouldn't be fair for me to just put 3 stars. But the fact that the tabs can just fall off 1 time out of 4 is bad. Really bad.Abena customer service has been amazing, they even send me a free pack to make up for the issue but the fact that it keeps on happening is making me concerned about leaks, and I really really really really really don't want to leak in public. Thankfully it hasn't happened yet but a little voice in my head keeps telling me it's just a matter of time.I've been unable to change for close to 8 hours sometimes, and seeing ALL the tabs either fell or were on the verge of falling off makes me incredibly uneasy. That's not helping me build confidence at all.I've considered switching brands but honestly nobody seems to come close in comfort, breathability and pricing.
5.0 out of 5 stars No Leaks! Perfect Fit!
My son is 45in tall, and 54lbs, 8 years old. I am telling you that, because I know that's the information I was looking for when I was reading reviews trying to figure out if the diapers would fit. They fit him perfectly. We have been using them for a week and have had no leaks. They are very absorbent. Usually with other diapers, as soon as he wakes up in the morning, I am nervous about getting him changed asap. With these, they don't even seem to be bulging, so I can let him wake up for a minute before I attack him with a diaper. Our previous diapers also did the thing where he would have the stuff, the gel, that's supposed to be on the *inside* of the diaper on his skin when I would take them off, and these don't do that at all. Love love love these diapers. I get his diapers free through Medicare, but they messed up the order this month, so I bought these in an emergency. I think I might just keep buying these instead.
3.0 out of 5 stars Most absorbing ones I’ve found in 10 years! But…..!!!!
Please for the love fix the crappy tabs! They break constantly, don’t stick. It’s hefty price to pay for these to have to use tape to hold up. Otherwise these are the only ones I’ve found that actually don’t leak for my son.
1.0 out of 5 stars Tabs Fail and Fit Changes while wearing
I have worn Abena Diapers for years. Sometimes my wife tells me the crinkle in the walk is too loud for regular plastic backed diapers that WORK SO WELL. So while my health issue flared again this July and I was back in diapers for 3 weeks, I tried these. They wore much quieter as the outside is kinda like fabric. They seem to hold a lot.HOWEVER, If you tape them on tight like I do the regular M-4's the tapes will simply rip off from the anchor point. Not where you taped them but from the manufacturing anchor point. This happens in bed just rolling over. I'm not talking about doing yard work. Just Sleeping. So I tried a solution to tape them on more loose. HOWEVER, the fabric seems to stretch as you wear them and if I tape them so they don't rip off in the night when I walk to the bathroom in the morning, I have to hold them up or they would fall at my ankles. As you can imagine, THIS DOES NOT WORK FOR HOLDING IN LIQUID.I am very very disappointed. I have read reviews that mention this DEFECT and just figured someone got a bad batch, but I don't think this is true. Too many people with the same complaint over a long period of time. I believe that Abena has not put enough time into development of this very nice very quit diaper.I will not buy again and when I need these again I will use the remainder of them with DUCT TAPE to keep them on at night. These diapers are way to expensive to have to use duct tape to hold them on.
Amazing for teens
Bedwetting teens will love this product. Dry all night
not helpful or useful
These are very strange and not useful. The paper is thin and practical and it is not useful. They will notstay in place and the small ties on the side do not stay in space. I am going to check and see if we canget a refund as they are not any good and they are really expensive.
A melhor
The best diapers
Absorb a lot more than competitors. No worry.
