5.0 out of 5 stars The best black polish for leather boots.
This product is just super. Compared to the kiwi brand or some other hard tack like polish, this one has the consistency of a very cream like texture and applies onto the leather easily. It is readily absorbed by the leather and revitalizes the leather's surface to make it brand new again. The leather seems thirsty as it absorbes the cream, but you wont have to use too much at all. A little goes a long way and thats why they made the jar so small. Dont worry, you'll get lots and lots of applications out of one small jar. While it goes on smoothly and in a satisfying manner, it does require rather frequent reapplication if your black leather is looking washed out. The pigment is super dark and effective but for some reason, the leather will look washed out again in a couple of days. Maybe this is how it goes for the first few applications. When applied and polished into the leather, it doesnt make the leather look wet. It makes for a. slightly matte look and doesnt make a gloss. It actually looks classier and more tasteful that way with the rich and supple type of look without that cheap glossy shine.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent polish
I bought this to polish some shoes I have been given for work. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on this as I may not use it as often. Price point was excellent. I used it yesterday for the first time and I was very pleased with the results. I actually used a saddle soap to clean the shoes and make sure they re prepped before polishing. And the shoes are almost brand new. I got this stuff all over my nails and hands and I’m pleased to say it comes right off. The jar was packed nicely and I thought little goes a long way. I hope this is helpful for you!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great product.
Having used the Saphir cordovan waxes and creams as well as the renovateur, I can attest that this smells like them both. Doesn’t smell of anything synthetic, but kind of an almond like smell. Works well and delivers a good shine.
4.0 out of 5 stars Shine
Make your shoes shine, good for military persons to used…. Great!
5.0 out of 5 stars Superb leather conditioner
This is a quality cream that renews color and rejuvenates leather, and so much more than that well-known supermarket brand of shoe wax (which can give a fair shine but doesn't really "nourish" like it claims). I strip the wax off my favorite dress shoes every so often, using a heat gun on gentle setting, then wiping off the wax. After that it's essential to use this on the leather, and I'll let it sit overnight before buffing it off, so that it soaks in.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product
This is really good shoe cream. Covers/colors scuffs, conditions leather, shines well.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy application for a great result.
The media could not be loaded. I cleaned the shoes with a horsehair brush first and then applied the cream with a cotton cloth. The product should be used sparingly as a little goes a long way. One must work the cream in to the leather and this only takes a few minutes. A pro tip is to let the shoes dry after the application for 5 minutes before brushing to allow the solvent to evaporate off. Thereafter, use a long hair horsehair brush or a goat hair brush to buff the shoes. The best result is with a yak hair brush but those are very expensive. The product has a great deal of pigment which will give your shoes a great depth. Your shoes will look amazing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic!
Absolutely amazed at how well this made my shoes look. Better than when I first got them. Used the Saphir saddle soap to clean, let them dry for a bit then applied the crème and let that haze over. Used my horsehair shine brush to finish and this is the result! Haven’t added a wax polish yet the toe but I’m so impressed by how beautiful they look and you can feel the leather being softer and stronger. Excellent product.
