If you have never used Nux Vomica you are missing out. It is my go-to for anything digestive. This is great when you eat too much. But one added benefit is its' ability to help with insomnia. If you eat anything too close to bedtime it can interfere with sleep. If I'm have a restless time falling asleep I pop 3 tablets under the tongue and within 20 min I'm out for the night. This product is easy to use and the size is perfect for slipping into your pocket or purse and great for travel.

To be honest, I have never heard of this Nux Vomica until a week or so ago. I was at my wit's end trying to help my 7 year old Golden with her stomach problems. Hundreds spent on different foods and another few hundred on medications. I was eager to try anything. An Holistic Veterinarian showed me an article about Nux Vomca 30C and I ordered it at once. Thanks to Bolo Prime, it arrived in 2 days and after reading the instructions on dosage...I gave it to her and myself. I took it as a control to see if there was any side effects we would share. There were NONE. You just place this tiny little ball shaped pill in her mouth between the cheek and the gum line. That's it. No swallowing needed or required.The following day she had her appetite back and ate normally...later her stools were much improved, but still loose. The day after that she was looking to play again and her stool was formed and semi-solid.Today...a full week later of taking Nux Vomica twice a day, I have my dog back. Normal eating, normal poops and she is as happy as I am.I STILL don't know what Nux Vomica is...but it is a good thing that actually works.Highly recommended.

Nux Vomica is a wonderful remedy that has been a mainstay in our home for probably 10 years now (ever since we learned about homeopathic remedies). The Boiron brand is trustworthy as well; we've used Boiron for many years.Whenever anyone in our house complains of nausea, discomfort from the occasional overindulgence (eating too much, or eating greasy/fried foods), or any other stomach issue, I immediately bring out the Nux Vomica. When I give it to my kids, I check on them anywhere from 15 minutes to half hour later, and they are fine. I personally feel relief within about 15-20 minutes, as well. I use Nux Vomica probably over a dozen times per year and have rarely needed a second dose.Nux Vomica also works for stuffy noses. (We usually take Aconite at the first sign of a cold, and Nux Vomica if there is congestion).Note that if younger kids don't want to put the pellets under the tongue (the preferred method), you can dissolve the pellets in a cup of water and just let them drink the water.This 3 pack is ideal because we all use it (family of six) and at less than $8 it is an excellent price, much lower than I've seen in any local store (probably cheaper than anywhere online too).

Used on a cruise and they work. The only thing I didn't like was having to take so many. You put 5 under your tongue to dissolve. Don't worry they are tiny so it isn't a problem.

I started using this product when I developed night shift insomnia which basically means I would go weeks only getting 2-3 hours of sleep every day and then finally get extremely tired and want to sleep 24/7 for days and then back again to the 2-3 hours. After the very first dose, I went to bed and slept 7 hours and woke up refreshed. As long as I keep taking it every so often, I am fine, but since working at night is so unnatural, I believe I will need the remedy as long as I keep doing this. You can go your own route like I did and find the remedy for yourself, but I basically put myself through a course of study on homeopathy for two years. I'm no expert, but I've been able to do for myself. The most important thing to understand is that the remedies do not treat the symptom, they treat the underlying cause, so these listed symptoms are merely the most common. Someone on here treated her hemorrhoids with them. Someone else I know uses them for mood swings. If a remedy isn't working for you, it's not the right one.
