This Drive Medical Tub Transfer Chair was an excellent solution for me when recovering from hip replacement. Also it’s a perfect solution for those with limited mobility. Designed for smaller bathtubs, this chair provides a stable and comfortable way to sit and shower safely. The sliding seat allows for smooth, effortless transfers in and out of the tub, minimizing the risk of slips or falls. Its sturdy aluminum frame is rust-resistant, and the seat is wide enough to offer plenty of room without feeling bulky. This assembly was especially easy for me because my long-suffering neighbor and her nephew put it together for me. They also removed the sliding tub doors so this would fit in, and it fits perfectly. The suction cups on the legs are effective and make it even safer, as it keeps it from slipping or shifting.Drive is a wonderful company for making these products at a low enough price for elderly and handicapped people on SSI.

It was easy to assemble. The suction cups on the tub side are just as strong as reviews have said. They do not release easily which is great for safety but difficult for taking the chair out of the tub. It feels a bit wobbly before I sit on it but is sturdy with weight. Because of my post op restrictions, I have to do quite a bit of maneuvering to get in and out of the tub and have felt safe at every angle. Our tub is smaller, and the bottom has a significant curve so with the large suction cups the seat closer to the outside of the tub. We just tuck the shower curtain under a weight to help with water escaping.

The chair is nice and relatively easy to assemble. However, if you have a shower curtain, A shower makes a mess of your bathroom because the shower curtain does not hold back the water that runs off the side of the chair that sticks out over the tub.

Excellent ! Just as advertised ! I weigh 250 lbs and have a broken leg. This extended shower bench is really easy to use and sturdy . Has a reversible seat back which helps ! Good price, fast shipping, easy assembly and with Bolo's flawless ordering process it was here in 2 days !

My about-140-lb parent has been able to use this without any trouble. Fit in the tub. Each leg has its own height adjustment points, so I was able to make it stable. Allows use of the handheld shower for washing hair and body without standing. Great for anyone who has balance issues.

I am delighted! After I broke my leg, I was very grateful that the Red Cross loaned me crutches and a similar seat. However, its top was padded and upholstered and I worried that I might damage it. When I learned that my recovery is going to be long, I decided to buy my own, but with a hard plastic top.This is perfect! It only took a few minutes to put together, seems well made, the big suction feet immediately stuck to the tub, and the several drain holes work well. Also, it is easy to release the feet if necessary.I am happy with this product.(Note: I have only used it twice, so I cannot vouch for its strength (I am 135 pounds) or how well it will stand up over time. If there is a problem, I will Edit this Review.)
