I still gave it 5 stars b/c I am sure it works as intended, but BEWARE this is kind of like spraying Pam or maybe a dry WD-40 on your stuff. I thought it was like a clear spray paint. It has a pleasant smell and I can think of other things to use this on. Rust-Oleum does make a product that I was thinking it was.

I am a female, but I still like to keep my tools looking new. I could not find this in any stores once I found it on Bolo. It was the best price ever. I use it faithfully on all my new tools and a shovel. That is five years old looks as if I just purchased it, I’ve even treated my older tools after I’ve cleaned them from rust and they’ve looked brand new. This is a must for people that care about keeping their equipment in tiptop shape. It’s worth every penny. I highly recommend it I buy four cans at a time, so I always have one on hand.

I followed manufacturer instructions perfectly. Problem was it never hardens. It also wipes off with fingers making it pointless unless whatever you are applying it too stays perfectly stationary and doesn't come into contact with anything else.

After reading through the reviews, I was skeptical about ordering this product due to the claims that the product doesn't dry after application. I used this product in a bathroom with poor ventilation because some metal items in the bathroom tend to start rusting. At first when you apply it, it does have a greasy residue that seems like it would wipe off easily which might lead one to think that it won't dry. However, I applied it, let it dry overnight, and the next day it was completely dry and I didn't notice a residue or film whatsoever on the treated surfaces. I might add that I did quite a thick application of the stuff, so I am more than pleased with the ability of this product to dry and adhere to the metal surface. Perhaps the other reviewers didn't give it adequate time to dry and adhere. I will come back in a few months and give it 5 stars if it actually does its job and prevents rust from forming.
