As a diabetic it was important for me to keep any open words I had dry. Though this is something that goes on wet, it really does dry out in a few hours tlsp it becomes very beneficial. I watched the nurse massage the iodine onto the gauze for a uniform coating before applying it. Once applied in a few hours it becomes dry and does what it is supposed to do.

Needed this to disinfect my nasal cavities for 10 days prior to having replacement hip surgery. Just coat it on a Q tip and swab around inside of my nose. Smaller bottle would have been better for me. Now have a antiseptic for cuts .
