A substantial and well-built step stool. The step is wide with amble space to stand, easily reaching 9ft ceiling w/o stretching the arms. The project tray is big and useful, a must-have imo. Overall, a solid product and much better than my decade old stool also from Cosco.

This Cosco stepladder meets my need for a mobile ladder for mostly inside-the-house chores. As a certified geezer (meaning old), I can no longer access heavy items from shelves by reaching, so I have to elevate myself. The same with house repairs, both inside and out. What distinguishes this ladder from other 3-step ladders are (1) the frame features handrails for user stability and (2) a work tray to hold stuff. It feels secure to climb and does not wobble, which is great for working on overhead projects, such as cleaning or repairing light fixtures. Also, when working on walls, the step incline angle places you very close to the wall's surface. This stepladder should accommodate most jobs requiring ceiling access. It folds easily, has a carry-balance point and, when stored upright, takes up minimal storage space.

As with any ladder, the User should not lean too far to the side. (that would be the only reason for the wide feet, which are TRIP HAZARDS) Good platform for holding paint containers and tools. Folds easily. Heavy, but to be expected with this type of ladder. Cosco has been a dependable brand for 75(?) years!

I used this step ladder while at my parents house. I'm scared of heights and hate climbing up on a chair and especially using a step ladder. I've never felt safe. Had to use a step ladder at my parents and it was so steady I felt secure and safe. Had to buy myself one for our house. Love it! I don't hesitate now when I can't reach something to pull it out and use it. It is lightweight enough to move about but strong enough to feel safe. Easy to open and close too. Like the tray for tools or paint also. It's a great product!!!

Great sturdy ladder with nice wide steps, very sturdy, the two side railings are great to steady yourself. I own two of these ladders. I have one in the basement and one in my one story condo. I am 77 years old and I have no problem climbing this ladder. I like the top step ledge to put tools or a bucket on. I’m short but with the 4 step I can reach my 8’ or 8-1/2’ ceilings. I can lift and open with ease but it is a-little heavy. I purchased this one as a gift because my son in law liked mine. Very easy to use and I can reach my ceiling fans, and fixtures to clean them.

Very sturdy and comfortable!
I love this stool! I paint apartments for a living and had been using a 6' aluminum ladder to cut in at the ceiling. While I loved the ease of moving a lightweight ladder, the steps were hard on my feet. After several hours of cutting in, my feet were killing me! (I have plantar fasciitis, which didn't help!)So, as I was searching for a lightweight step stool with wide steps, I came across this one and it's worked out great! It's a little heavier than I'd like, at just under 10 pounds, but it's very sturdy and the wide steps are exactly what I was looking for. Now I climb up and down just as much as before, but I have much less foot pain. Even standing while cutting in is so much more comfortable as the steps are wider and they have a rubber grip which provides a bit of cushion.I was slightly concerned that I wouldn't be able to reach as high as I needed to in order to cut in eight foot ceilings, as I'm only five feet one inch, but I can reach very easily from the top step.The paint platform is grooved, allowing for a paint can with extra space for a rag, sanding block, screw driver and other tools. Well worth the price!

My boss has had a step ladder like this for years. It's always worked great.I was looking for a step ladder because I wanted to take our large aluminum ladder to the garage and get it our of the house. This step ladder is much smaller and lighter, but still large enough to do almost any task in the home. It's a perfect choice. Very sturdy and long lasting.When I saw Bolo had the same one we have at work, it was a no brainer. Happy I bought it.
Very comfortable to work on
Nice big steps so your feet don't hurt at the end of the day. The tray area for your tools or paint can or whatever is plenty big for most jobs. We use these daily in home renovation environments. They hold up well
