It is black construction paper that you can get at a store. Was doing a project with my niece and it served it's purpose, may use the rest for Halloween bats this year. It is worth the value, a few bucks, can't beat that. May be able to use in scrapbooking as well. You get a lot of paper too, I would buy again from seller. Just know, it's not heavyweight like the description says. It's not as black as the pictures either, it's got that, I've been through the wash a lot faded black color.

This paper is very faded, more like a graphite grey instead of black. It seems thick, but not much like construction paper or cardstock, it's very soft. Overall, not what I was looking for.

Color wasn't accurate at all
I ordered black but recieved grey and was definitely disappointed with the product. I've attached a photo with another brand of black paper (the darker sheet) to show just how off the color of the sheets from this brand (the lighter sheet). The color is also pretty grainy.If the saturation and even coloring aren't a concern for you, these will work just fine, but you can probably get the same thing at the dollar store for cheaper.
Much thinner than the original sheets I bought last year
Had to double each sheet, and some papers were crumpled along the edges.
