    I've been using the gas version for decades so I figured I would try the diesel version. I have two 14 gal tanks I use so in theory I won't have to store the fuel for very long if I don't use a lot one year. When one gets used the next time we go into town we will fill it up so we always have it. We just pour the required amount in the empty tank before we go to fuel it up.

    I've always used Lucas oil stabilizers and now recently fuel stabilizers and octane boosters. Its great in engines and as a fuel additive. Engines run hard on Lucas.

    It is my impression that Pri-D and Pri-G products are better than the STA-BIL stabliizer. The STA-BIL Diesel Fuel Stabilizer container can be refilled and reused for years from a larger container. I will attempt to quickly use up the STA-Bill product and then use the empty container with my Pri-D fuel stabilizer which I purchase in the larger (cheaper) one gallon size container.

    My motorhome has a 200 gallon diesel capacity. I like to keep it full when the RV is in storage. Diesel Stabil keeps that diesel stabilized and good for at least a year. Fill up when the price is down, stop worrying about fuel issues when it is time to hit the road.
