I really like this disc and I use it with the weighted bobbins to create my kumihimo braids. It’s perfect for traveling, or when you’re working on multiple projects at the same time. I’ll probably keep one or two of these on hand even after I get my marudai. I really love the thickness and ease of use!

Quality tools make a significant difference when crafting. These foam disks are so much better and lasts so much longer than the cardboard kind.

If you're dabbling in Kumihimo, you can absoluately make a cardboard wheel that I am sure will work fine. However, I wanted to avoid the effort (yes, being lazy). This is perfect. Lightweight, easy to hold, does the job. It's not the fault of this disk that I am horrid at Kumihimo :)

I bought this disc to make dog leashes with. I didn't buy it to make jewelry even though I do make jewelry. I'm working on my second dog leash. the leash I made is stronger than the ones you but in the stores. I couldn't have made the type of leash I wanted to without this disc.
