They are great as a main dish pasta with some pesto and Parmesan cheese. They are also fantastic added to broth with a few veggies - they stand up well as a soup pasta, I often use leftovers that way. They cook up quickly. Make sure you cook them in lots of water, they soak up a fair bit in order to hydrate correctly.

I purchased Barilla Three Cheese Tortellini about a month ago at the super market after being discharged from the hospital. I was told to stay on a low fiber/no meat diet for a while. They suggested pasta and rice as a base. When I saw this I thought...it's Barilla...how bad can it be. It was pretty darn good with a little drizzle of quality olive oil and parm cheese sprinkled on top. Now I can eat seafood and right away thought about this with sauteed shrimp and fresh garlic tossed in. As usual, I checked for the product on Bolo and see they've got a 4 pack available through Subscribe and Save....my favorite way to shop.I'm looking forward to trying the shrimp dish. While the tortellini is cooking I'll quickly saute fresh shrimp and chopped fresh garlic in a little olive oil and a small pat of butter for rich flavor. Toss that into the cooked pasta and top with a little grated cheese.....yummy!!!!! Can't wait to add veggies to this dish. One bag serves 4 or, if you're a robust eater, provides 2 REALLY generous servings. By the way...leftovers keep well in the frig for days and reheat well if not over cooked so singles or someone cooking for two shouldn't shy away from cooking a whole bag at once.

These are awesome especially with some Barilla marinara sauce, just boil the pasta, heat up the marinara and combine for an almost instant Italian restaurant quality meal right at home. Superb taste and price value.

I was a little leery of a product with dried spinach and cheese, but I took a chance.I cooked a package, added some pasta sauce and a little Italian sausage, and it was so good I could hardly stop eating it!This stuff will be a regular part of my diet now.

This is a bag of dried pasta that you don't have to refrigerate that can feed a small family in ten minutes for less than five dollars. Concededly, it does not taste as good as fresh pasta, but it's unrealistic to expect it to. For what it is, this is a very good buy; it's convenient, quick, cheap and very good. It's a great "emergency meal." We always have a few packs in the cupboard, and the kids never complain when it's served.

This value pack is very much with the money. My partner loves it, it’s much cheaper than buying it by the individual bag at the supermarket as well.I put it on low boil in a med - large sauce pan for 10 min, then drain. Make a quick sauce with crushed and fresh tomatoes, EVOO, fresh basil and rosemary in my 12” fry pan. Add tomato paste and crushed pepper to taste. Salt.Add cooked pasta and finish with fresh mozzarella pearls.Perfect dinner in under 30 min.

After experimenting with different cooking methods, I found that the best way to fully cook this tortellini without it falling apart is to soak it at room temperature for approximately 1 hour, drain, and place in boiling water for about 2 minutes. No more under-hydrated or falling-apart tortellini!
Excellent product
My husband really likes tortellini. Could not find any locally. Barilla is a consistent brand that we purchase here and in Europe. Bought these to try. He is a very happy camper. Will buy again. Good quality.
