Several Bible journaling bloggers recommended using Crayola twistable crayons as Bible highlighters. These were reasonably priced so I decided to give them a try. They work perfectly. No shadowing, no page wrinkling or tearing, no distorting the print. I wish I had known about the use for this style of crayon sooner. I've begun to use them as highlighters in regular books as well. This particular pack is perfect for this use as it comes with neon colors and more pastel colors then the regular color pack would. The only crayons in this pack that I don't find usable are the tri-colored ones.

Pretty, useful waxy crayons in fun colours no mess
I needed a fast to use dry medium for Art Therapy study. The swirly triple/double colours are magnificent fun. Great effects on the page. The neon colours as expected a little pale but still fantastic. Nice dry texture and no need to sharpen. I have not dropped one yet but would assume they probably don’t break the first time ;) for the full set of “usual” colours the basic pack of 12 are available which includes a black and a dark blue, etc
Delgados pero buena calidad
Muy lindos, son delgados pero están muy padres por el plástico que los recubre...aunque cuando se llegan a caer..fácilmente puede quebrarse la punta que sobresale del crayón por lo delgados que son, pero me parece un buen producto, los colores como fosforescentes no pintan muy fuerte es algo tenue el color. Algunos crayones vienen en 4 colores en 1 ...en general me parece un buen producto.

くるりらの色が多いバージョンのようで、くるりらの5倍くらいの値段だけど買ってみました。結果、くるりら比較で色がかなり薄くて、がっかりです。日本の人はくるりらを買いましょう。
The kids love them - but so much plastic
One time I looked up whether Crayola was considering making twistables reusable. I found a bunch of other people were asking them for the same thing. The official comment was that they weren't considering it at the moment. I would LOVE these if they were reusable. It would be so easy to achieve!
