About this item:
Taking its name from the famous European city, Monte Carlo is one of Arnott’s most famous cream biscuits. Created in 1926, it features two home-style honey and coconut biscuits and a layer of rich raspberry flavoured cream filling. A great everyday treat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy in an understated, plain way.
Normally, I would never pay $10 for a package of cookies. I'm a fan of the Australian show Wentworth (thank-you, Netflix.) On an impulsive whim, I decided to see if you could purchase these, as they are referenced many times by certain characters. Honestly, I thought they were probably made up. Imagine my surprise when I discovered that, not only were they a real product, they sounded tasty and could be ordered here on Bolo. (Then again, what can't you buy here on Bolo? Lol.) The cookies, or biscuits (as they are called in Australia,) arrived quickly and packaged securely. The taste was almost like a shortbread flavor followed by a nice hint of raspberry coconut. It is (in my opinion) kind of reminiscent of a Pepperidge Farm type of cookie. It was expensive because, unlike myself, it is a product of Australia. So, although I enjoyed the cookie, I probably would not buy them again. If they were available locally (making them cheaper) I would definitely keep buying them. That being said, I now know what many Australians know, the taste of an Arnott's Monte Carlo "biscuit." ( I wonder what the Australians call a cookie?)
5.0 out of 5 stars These are definitely delicious
We found out about these cookies watching wentworth and we are like why is Boomer so obsessed with them? So we ordered some and they are really good. They are bit on the dry side, but if you like a nice crunchy cookie with some fruit flair these are the cookies you want.
5.0 out of 5 stars Delicious child favorite
Crave these every so often. Expensive here but very few options
3.0 out of 5 stars Arnott's got cheap with the recipe but Seller is not to blame
Aussie here. Living in the US I missed the gold ole Monte Carlos. Hadn't had one in a dozen years. I ordered them here. They were delivered with minimal damage (a little bit of crumble on some--nothing major), and they were fresh--not stale. However, the amount of coconut raspberry marshmallow cream was minimal compared to many years ago--very thin layer. You get a small taste of it, but nothing like in the good old days. No fault of the Seller.
4.0 out of 5 stars Had to have one
I saw these cookies on a tv show I was watching and I just had to try them. The flavor of the filling was good, a bit sweet but good. The cookie was excellent. They’re thicker than I had thought they’d be so one at a time was sufficient. I wanted more!!! Good value for the price. Try them you’ll like them.
1.0 out of 5 stars Great cookies crushed
These cookies are delicious but both packages arrived in very bad condition, all broken and crushed. For the price, they are just not worth it and should be regarded as “second” quality. Do better ordering from Treats from Oz or one of the other Australian food sites.
5.0 out of 5 stars One of my favorite biscuits back home in Autralia.
Love these. Very unique taste and texture. I would sit and eat these back home in Australia relaxing. Or fill a plate with these and Tim Tams for a barbie. Every now and then I indulge in goodies from back home because God knows I am sick to death of Cinnamon and Peanut Butter flavoured everything here...sigh. You can't really describe the taste as it's unique to Monte Carlo. I also don't like jam having said that you don't taste the jam in these because of the creamy filling in between the biscuits. If you are looking for something unique to eat with your cuppa, these are it!!
2.0 out of 5 stars Not impressed
This is the first time I’ve ever tried these cookies and I really don’t know what they are supposed to taste like. I’m assuming that the coconut cream and the jam inside are supposed to taste just like that — coconut cream and jam. I suspect these cookies are past their expiration date because the jam/cream part had the consistency of a gummy. So I really could not taste any fruit or coconut flavor at all. The filling had hardened into a flat gummy type consistency. Disappointing and I will not order again.
Best biscuits in whole world. Great with tea or coffee
Best biscuits in world but don’t travel well as end biscuits crumble - but even crumbs were delicious.
I always like the Australian biscuits
