This is a Chinese version of a very commonly used heater valve on older US cars (I used it on an IH Scout II). It is exact in it's dimensions, it is an identical copy. It's alright. It is, I'd say, very inexpensive. On the one I just purchased, the throttle cable hold down thread stripped out immediately due to the softness of the steel (frownie face). I was able to use it with a nut and bolt of harmonious size.

I was hoping this would help to regulate HVAC temperature better. Upon inspection I can blow through and see light through while in the closed position.Will try another style valve as this won't improve my issue.Trying bypass valve #25-1018 on order.
