First, I do attach to outside of clothes, but usually that's a lightweight turtleneck.I have neck/shoulder issues.BECAUSE I put on clothing, it feels best if I'm LYING down as it puts it closer to my skin. I tend to put these on about an hour before bed. STILL warm the next morning!GREAT PRICE, BETTER than the better known one, and keeps my shoulder/neck WARM all night.I love ICY HOT and this is better and longer lasting and not as messy and no smell.For the price, I say give it a shot.

I love the patch, I wrapped around my ankle due to a sprained ankle issue...It is forming a little cozy ankle mitton...For a cold winter day, standing on your feet whole day..It really helps. My co worker recommend this to me, and loves her for this.

These work really well for me. I have a lot of lower back pain and a muscle tear. I have been using a lot of pain patches. These stick to my undergarments well enough, especially when held in place by pants, and last nearly all day. I don't usually need to add a pain patch when I use them. I tried to use it on my shoulder once but because the shirt wasn't tight it didn't stay in the right place and didn't feel as warm when I use thinner material. So the material definitely matters. I like it better than other heat patches because I don't have to wrap it around myself or stick it to my skin, which gets irritated. It's also useful for menstrual cramps.

They don't heat at all. I mean nothing happens.I assumed the batch was defective so I sent them an email and they sent me a package to return them so "they could figure out what's wrong." They sent me new ones upon receipt of my return and they were EXACTLY the same - no heat!Apparently, they make enough money from people buying it and not bothering when nothing happens.
