I'd like to thank Weleda for keeping all of their products cruelty-free, my kind of people/company. I found this balm to be the bomb, Pardon my silly play on words, but it is true, this is absolutely excellent for very dry aging as in over 60 skin. I use it every night and adore it. It makes my skin feel so smooth and soft in the mornings. The light scent is not bothersome so if you have a problem with scents you'll be just fine with this. It has sweet almond oil in it which is wonderful for dry skin or very dry skin such as mine. You only need a very small amount, I use a pea size amount and it works great for all-night hydration. I'm so happy I found WELEDA, great products at affordable prices, and the best part, drum roll please, cruelty-free! If you're in need of that something extra for very dry aging skin get this is amazing!UPDATE: Weleda, I love your balm but will you PLEASE consider making it in something other than this tube? This tube is extremely hard to get your product once it's on the low side, wish you would please put it in an easier-to-get container, now I know what others were complaining about. Thanks.

OMG, I absolutely LOVE the Weleda Almond line. I have super dry and sensitive skin and was so desperate to find something that would moisturize without making me break out like when I was a teenager. After trying several Weleda products (selected because they are good on sensitive skin), I finally settled on a combination of Almond products. This Cold Cream is amazing! (It's not a cold cream like grandma used to use to remove her makeup. It used to be called almond cream or something, and I'm not sure why they changed the name, but it's of the almond line.) I was worried to use a combination of oils on my face, but I have never broken out after using this (have been using it for over a year, now). I start with the almond oil, followed by almond facial lotion and finish with this cold cream. This trio packs an amazing punch of moisture. It does stay "oily" on my face for about 15 minutes and then it absorbs, leaving my skin smooth and ready for makeup. It has softened my skin, reduced the appearance of blemish scars and really softened my laugh lines and eye wrinkles. I love the way it smells (yes, a little "health food" store-ish) and the smell is not overwhelming at all. I get the best results when I remember to wash my face before bed and use the same trio. I wake up and my face is soooooooooo soft.I love using whatever combination of these on my kids during the summer for sun-induced dry skin and in the winter when their skin starts to crack from the cold dry. They use a much lighter moisturizer on their faces that usually does the trick, but when that isn't enough, two days of putting this combination on and they are good as new!A tube of this will last me 4 - 6 weeks, depending on how dry they weather makes my skin!

I bought an unscented cold cream at a farmer's market this summer and I loved it. The seller made it from all essential oils and also goats milk from the goats she raised. She has since retired and doesn't make it anymore. I am in search for another natural, unscented, cold cream/heavy moisturizer, because I have extra dry skin and scents irritate my eyes. I like this product, but the rose oil still irritates my eyes. The consistency is quite a bit thicker than I was looking for, but it has good moisturizing qualities. And I like the natural ingredients!

I’ve been through two tubes and will continue to buy. I use it on my face to combat dry skin. It’s thick but absorbs quickly and does not irritate my sensitive skin. Smell is pleasant but natural, not overwhelming.

I have very dry, sensitive skin now that I'm middle-aged. I like Neutragena's Hydro Boost in lotion (not gel) for daytime, but wanted a thicker lotion for overnight. I use my own retinoid product separately every other night so not to irritate my skin. I don't get breakouts, but am sensitive to fragranced lotions. I've tried Weleda products before and found them good, not as good as Dr. Hauschka, but a LOT cheaper.This is a very small package, and VERY thick. I use probably less than a teaspoon of it nightly. I probably should thin it out by mixing in a tad of the Hydro Boost but I haven't. Perhaps because it is so thick, or for some reason, it really has to be dabbed on and then rubbed in - and it makes my face rather red for about 5 minutes. Not "allergic reaction red," bur reddened. After about 5 minutes, it's fine.It feels like a barrier but is absorbed, doesn't sit on top of the skin. It lasts most of the night, and my skin is ready for cleansing and day moisturizer when I wake. It has a pleasant and non-irritating scent.I like it, but for the amount, it's expensive, and the redness doesn't thrill me. It's also just too thick, and not a great value. It doesn't feel like it is absorbed as well as the Olay Regenerist, but lasts longer than the Hydro Boost at night. I'll likely return to the Olay but without the non-retinoid version. Regenerist is less expensive, smoother, doesn't redden my skin, and easier to put on - and really feels absorbing as well as long lasting.Still, I'll use up this container.
tolle Creme
Habe diese Creme aufgrund bestimmter Wörter wie "trockene Haut, empfindliche Haut, Spannungsgefühl" gesucht und gefunden. Bei Weleda dachte ich, kannst du nichts verkehrt machen. Kenne schon lange diese Firma und deren Philosophie. Und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht :)Sie riecht so schön nach Honig und meine Haut fühlt sich, verwende sie als Nachtcreme jetzt im Sommer, wirklich gut an. In der kalten Jahreszeit werde ich sie auch tagsüber anwenden. Ich habe gleich 2 Packungen auf einmal gekauft und bin überrascht wie ergiebig diese Creme ist. Bei besonders trockenen Stellen und Spannungsgefühl bei Anwendung meiner jetzigen Tagescreme, creme ich diese noch mit dieser Goldcreme ein, top! Ich kann sie aufgrund meiner Erfahrungen zu 100% weiterempfehlen
Très hydratante - un bonheur par grand froid
Achetée à cause des premières basses températures qui desséchaient ma peau mature.Cette crème est une vraie merveille, très agréable à appliquer, j'aime bien l'odeur.Il en faut peu pour hydrater et protéger la peau en hiver, bien que j'en mette 2 petites noisettesA la première utilisation, j'en avait mis un peu trop et j'ai juste tapoter avec un mouchoir pour enlever l'effet brillance. Elle ne colle pas.Cette crème n'est pas adaptée aux peaux normales ou mixtes mais aux peaux sèches et très sèches.
Migliore crema per pelli molto secche
Dopo averne provate tante, questa è l'unica crema in grado di contrastare la pelle secca, la uso per tutto l'inverno, basta una piccola quantità per lasciare il viso ben idratato. Appena applicata lascia la pelle un po' unta perché ha una base oleosa, ma deve essere così perché la rende perfetta per la pelle secca, durante la giornata la pelle rimane elastica e luminosa e non tira, finalmente! D'estate, in cui la pelle si secca di meno, riduco la quantità di crema o ne uso una più leggera.

No hace.mucho que la estoy utilizando pero me parece que me fa buena protección contro el frío. Tengo.piel muy estropeada...y su textura me parece aportar buen nutrición. Personalmente me gusta también el olor.
