Paid a little bit more for these Cat5 cables as I don't need any problems. The picture of the packaging shown in the ad doesn't resemble what you receive. My order was shipped with a bunch of loose cables in a large plastic bag. I guess that's okay?

I bought this pack to replace a mix of various cables I had connected to a switch that was showing speeds of 100Mbps when it should have supported 1000Mbps.After replacing the cables, I was back to 1000Mbps again.One point for consideration, is that the boot that covers the clip to prevent snagging can also prevent you from disconnecting it. Or at least making it difficult. There are other cables with better methods of making the cable disconnect easier and preventing snagging. I knew that before buying this and the lower price was worth it for me. It doesn't take away from the durability or function of the cable itself. It is just a nice to have.
