5.0 out of 5 stars Must have leather conditioner!

    a. · December 4, 2024

I'm absolutely amazed by this leather conditioner! I used it after cleaning my favorite leather shoes, and the results were incredible—they look as good as new. The conditioner gave the leather a soft, muted shine that’s elegant and not overly glossy. I also love that it doesn’t leave any sticky residue, just a smooth and natural finish. I’m so impressed that I plan to use it on all my leather shoes and my handbag collection. This product is a must-have for restoring and maintaining leather!

This is a great product. I wish it was a little bit thicker but after now four coats, my leather jacket is back to normal.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great stuff - on brand new Solovairs & beaten, old Dan Post boots!

    V. · March 13, 2013

I got this stuff for my new Solovair 20-eye boots. It did a great job and really softened up the leather for wear. You should always treat your new boots before wear, it helps to protect them against the elements and makes them a lot easier to break-in comfortably. I applied it with a brush, let it soak in overnight, and wiped off the residue the next day. I applied too much this first time around, and I only used about two tablespoons total, so this stuff goes a long, long way. I almost bought a larger bottle, but this small one will last me a very long time. When I run out, I will most certainly buy again. Definitely recommended.UPDATE: After seeing what a great job Leather Honey did on my new Solovairs, I decided to try it out on my old, beaten up Dan Post boots. I was given the boots in a heavily used condition two years ago, and I had not applied any treatment or care whatsoever in the entire time I have owned them - and I don't believe the previous owner did, either, by the looks of them. So, needless to say, they needed some TLC pretty badly.Once again, Leather Honey did the job and did it very well! My Dan Post boots went from looking beaten and worn to looking sharp and properly cared for. Mind you, they don't look brand new by any means, but they certainly do not look old or beaten any longer - maybe only a year old, a far cry from their previous state. I applied the treatment in a thin, evenly spread layer using my hands, and it was all soaked in two to three hours later. Nothing to wipe away; that leather was thirsty!Anyway, just thought I should give an update to let everyone know that this stuff will revive your old, neglected, 'too beaten to wear out' leather, as well as help to soften up and condition your brand new items. And, for anyone who is curious, my Dan Post boots are black cowhide, not fancy reptile or anything. There was absolutely no color loss, and the wrinkles, slight cracks, etc. were very much smoothed over and some even disappeared with the treatment.I noticed one person commenting about how there was color loss when s/he applied Leather Honey. The only way I can see this occurring is if the leather has been cheaply dyed, and the color is merely a top-coat that did not soak in or bond with the leather itself. If you're unsure, always apply it to a discreet area (like the tongue of your boot, for example) before treating the entire item. If you have color loss, or are concerned with that possibility, then buy some cream polish to apply after the Leather Honey treatment. This is a superb idea regardless, as it protects your boots from the elements. I purchased a jar of Meltonian Shoe and Boot Cream with my Leather Honey for that reason. Cream polish is much better for your shoes than wax, and also conditions them while wax is more of a shiny top-coat sort of thing. If you want your boots to last, folks, you need to not only condition, but also polish them regularly. It sounds like a hassle but it does not take but ten minutes at most (for my huge 20-eye boots, even) and will add many years to the life of your boots. It also revitalizes the color of your boots, and helps water-resistance. Conditioning and polishing should be done when you first buy your new boots, right after they have experienced weather (such as rain or snow), and on a regular basis - I treat my boots once a week because I wear them every day, but if you wear yours less often, once a month should be enough; though, there is no such thing as conditioning & polishing your boots too often.Protect your investment, and take care of your boots!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works with Wilson GST football

    l.o. · October 26, 2024

I bought a new official size Wilson GST Football for my current 8th grader. I wanted to have it ready for him after his middle school season was over. I followed the steps I used to prep his 7th grade ball, but for some reason, the ball was still slick, rock hard and kind of orange. I wasn't worried too much about the color, but more about how it felt.I had ran out of my current conditioner and tried the Leather Honey Leather Conditioner. I kind of went overboard with the amount I put on. I first applied some to each panel, and avoided the laces and the white stripes. I'm not sure why we can't do those, but I followed those instructions. Since I applied it with a paper towel, it got a bunch of lint on it. So make sure you use gloves or your hands. When I was done, I added more and used my fingers to spread it over the ball. I let it sit for about 6 hours. When I picked the ball up, it was the deep dark brown that you want to see in your high school football. It was also way softer than it was before I applied this conditioner. Now it could be because it hasn't fully soaked in. It is absorbed enough because I don't have any residue on my hands when I pick it up. I'm not sure, but it feels softer and has some added tack to it. I finished the session by using my Wilson brush. After a good brushing it is still a nice deep brown and has tack to it similar to what you would feel if you used the Wilson Wax Bar.Haven't been able to take it out just yet, but it based on this session it at least looks and feels how it's supposed to. I recommend Leather Honey Leather Conditioner to condition your Wilson GST Footballs.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great leather revitalization

Worked really well on my leather couch which was very dry and scratched. Looks almost new at 12 years old! Love that it’s thick like honey, smells good, easy to work with.

3.0 out of 5 stars Dried out Perforated Leather

    M.J. · January 5, 2025

Bought, and used leather honey per friends recommendation. I used several Coats, and had time to let it soak for 24 hours or more. This product did not noticeably change the roughness of the leather. I suspect if the leather is not already completely dried out it would work much better. I ended up trying a product called Leather CPR which after 2 applications over a week noticeably changed the leather making it somewhat soft again, but more coats are needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great!!

    C. · December 20, 2024

This stuff did exactly as advertised. The liquid flows from the bottle like honey (literally) and does not take much to cover the surface. My new leather absorbed the first coat in 2 hours and was noticeably more supple. A 2nd coat was fully absorbed in 6 hours. A 3rd coat had very small shiny areas after 24 hrs indicating that the leather was fully conditioned. After wiping off the small residue of the 3rd coat, the entire leather was very soft and very little stiffness remained. The initial application did not darken the leather much at all. However, by the 3rd application the leather was a shade darker, but I wanted that to happen. I highly recommend this product.

Excellent product, works as described 👌

    J.G. · December 5, 2024

The media could not be loaded. Leather honey leather conditioner is easy to apply and rubs into the leather evenly after working it in. There is a visible difference before and after using this product. It restores stiff and cracking leather to a soft and moisturized look. There's no scent to it and it doesn't leave an oily residue when it dries.

    Es buen producto

    Hervorragende Lederpflege – absolut empfehlenswert!

    P.G. · January 3, 2025

    Awesome!

Easy to apply and shoes look good as new.

Very good BUT darkened the colour

    C.G. · December 12, 2024

Used this on a new watch strap which was very stiff leather - it worked like a charm, made the leather much more supple and comoftable - BUT it's darkened the colour quite noticably. It's OK as I rather like the new, richer colour, but DEFINTELY try it on a hidden area first before you slather it all over something!
