5.0 out of 5 stars I wish I could give it 10 stars
THIS STUFF WORKS. I put it out, and by the next day most ants were gone, by second day none were to be found. I could not be more pleased about the ease of application, and the efficacy of this product. It totally eliminated ghost ants and the big brown ones. THIS STUFF WORKS. If you have ants, just get it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Effective Product
I used this product for two separate in-home ant problems and I am so impressed with its effectiveness. It handled my ant issues within hours. I waited 24 hours to ensure no further pests and there were none. Clean up was easy and effortless. I highly recommend this product for any ant problem or infestation.
5.0 out of 5 stars This works!!!
A friend recommended this product. We just moved into a newly built house and were seeing ants in random areas. Not into the food, but on counters, floors, walls, bathrooms, drawers, just about everywhere. I tried the little blue rectangular ant baits and they kind of worked for a day or so. But this stuff really did the job. Like another reviewer recommended, I squeezed about a dime-sized blob onto Post-it notes and put them in all places around the house. Ants were attracted to them - and it was hard not to eliminate those - but they carried it back to their nests and in a very short time, all the ants were gone. I did have to repeat the application in some areas. I used one tube and have 4 left over. Not sure I’ll need it, because this really worked. Awesome product, so glad I was told about this!
4.0 out of 5 stars This Bait Works, But Shelf-life-Effectiveness ?
Have used with good overall results. "Overall": I've found that several months after purchase the gel not only loses effectiveness but thickens, resulting in the entire tube contents retracting in one long slug when raising the plunger after application. That's extremely messy to clean up - hard to get a grip on something with consistency of jelly. Maybe that means repurchasing more often. Because it has worked so effectively, I assume that's the case, will reorder.
5.0 out of 5 stars I’m on day 12 or 13…
The media could not be loaded. I will update after more time has gone by but I had to write a review so far and I never leave reviews. I live in Texas where we don’t get much rain and we have very hot summers but can get cold in winter. For about 3 years I’ve been complaining to my regular bug guy about these black ants. I’ve not once had them inside my home though. But they get in flower pots. 100s inside pots. This summer I fought them all year. We would spray or put out bait and they just move to a different location or trail. Never did they go away. And I was getting concerned because I’d see them going into areas around my foundation or windows. He told me they were acrobat ants. They are either that or carpenter ants. But you can see in my photos the orange bait he’s been using. He’s even treated my grass. The bait he uses does nothing. Fast forward to the night before I’m hosting my entire family for Christmas. My husband washed off our sidewalks and about 10 hours later I walk into my bedroom to see a massive ant infestation. I’ve never seen anything like it in my life. Thousands. Coming under baseboards. Windows. Under the toilet. Creeping up the walls. My floors are wood so I didn’t get a good video of them on the wood. I would clean them up in one area and they would be flooding another wall. They were coming in about 1200 square feet of my home. I freaked naturally as I have 20 people showing up the next day. We did spray some sort chemical outside. It killed a lot instantly. But it was cold. And these ants were in clusters all over my brick. They should not have been moving much this time of the year. They were slow outside. But moved fast inside my home. My photos don’t show the complete infestation. 1000s down along concrete at foundation. Moving slow because it’s cold. I had my bug guy there 10 days before this because I had seen a lot in one window. And around my toilet. In my photos you see the commercial bait he left in the tray. They are not touching it. I put this bait on a card behind the toilet beside his. Just a few ants were out. Within an hour I caught this many feeding. One of my photos shows them feeding on the window corner. So the next morning after I had put this out and my husband sprayed and there were ants dead everywhere. I thought it was from the spray. And maybe it was. But my husband used the leaf blower and blew sidewalks off. After my family left we had ants everywhere again outside dead. In piles. My husband blew it off. The next morning. MORE piles of ants. I’m on day 12. I keep seeing a few here and there in my bathroom. A few in in other areas. But no trails. And what’s weird is I keep finding dead ones. Especially around the toilet. I found about 10 this morning. Cleaned it. Today about 10 more. With 2 or 3 Alive. But I’ve yet to get infested again. I think we have to have a colony in walls or foundation. Notice the orange bait outside. It does nothing but make a mess. I have a regular bug guy.Buy it. My verdict is still out if it gets rid of them entirely. But all I know is I’ve seen massive amounts of dead ants the first two days. My video isn’t great. But this shows all the dead ants the second time we had to clean it up.I’m very impressed. We have tried so many baits. This seems to work. So glad I stumbled across it on Bolo. Do yourself a favor. Buy the bait.
Expensive but works
This is a really good product. It's the second time I bought this and the first lot lasted me two years. This time the ants found their way in through a tv cable. Luckily I saw them, ordered this and used it the next day. Ants were gone after a couple of days. It's easy to use and I think, such good value for money even though it's fairly expensive. You don't have to use much and it works from a syringe so there's no leaks. Apparently the ants take it back to the nest and it does its work there.
Amazing
Amazing. Worked first time. Few days later no more ants.
Didn't work
Greek ants must be different to British ants! They walked around it and never ate it even when I covered a dead locust with the gel.
