I only wanted a 'wand', not the whip on the end. But this works fine. I just tie the whip part back so it doesn't hurt my horse. I only need it as a gentle tap behind my leg as a communication. It is well made and light in my hand. Would be nice to have a light wrist ring at the top for use while riding to make it easier to hold. It is a good stick and a nice length. The price was good too.

We have 5 large puppies we are training. I use it to tap the floor to give commands. My biggest problem is keeping up with it since it doesn’t have a wrist strap.

i received a crop with a knotted loop on the end. If you untie the loop instead of getting 1 piece with a flexable whip like end what the p[c shows you end up with 2 pieces the main crop sat its tip has a small soft loop the 2nd piece about 6 in. is very stiff a tassel on 1 end and a large loop on the other there are no directions or pic showing the whip other than the 1 here showing 1 smooth piece that i did not receive. The design stinks. Your choice is to leave it as it comes or get something to tie the 2 loops together. either way it looks nothing like what's shown

Yes, it was totally my fault for not noticing it was sticking out of the tack box, but I still didn’t expect it to snap in half after getting the lid gently closed on it… aluminum trunk too, not a wood one!

I accidentally left this in thd round pen with two horses. It was nasty and muddy in there. They stepped on it. I picked it up, washed it off and it was as good as new. Would definitely recommend.
