I bought one of these knives in the store years ago and these knives really work well. I did not realize it at first, but they are hollow ground knife blades, and they initially were foreign to me so I resisted using it.When I started to use it, wow, did this knife cut, and it did not get dull. My best test is slicing tomatoes, and veggies, you know, generally all around chef stuff you need to cook something.What makes me a little confused is that now that I have ordered and received a second knife I don't understand why it is not as sharp or does not cut as well as the older first knife? Both are acceptably sharp, but the new knife is not as sharp towards the tip of the blade. I never sharpened the original knife, by the way.I want to give Zyliss a 5/5 for all the years of service my original purchase gave me, and is still giving me, but I have to question their current quality control or manufacturing process. What happened Zyliss?Still both knives are great, and compared to some of the name brands and so-called premium brands, these are much less expensive, their handles fit better and they cut much better. My next purchase will be some smaller Zyliss knives, Ii really like them.I am going to rate this new knife 4/5 and take a point off for it not being as sharp as the original.Rated 4/5( I could use some pointers or information on what to use and how to sharpen these knives when they need it, which is not very often. )

The look, and quality is very good. The spread stainless steel part is wide which allows for better spreading and the handle is trendy and it is dishwasher safe. Highly recommend.

I like the feel of the knife in my hand. The best part is the thinness and sharpness of the blade. We are using it in the kitchen now but I intend to use it for skinning and fleshing animals.
Love the new knife
We had a similar all round kitchen knife to this one that basically wore out. This knife is identical in every way, and the blade is perfectly designed and sharpened. Very happy as the same type of knife is triple the price at kitchen stuff plus.
