5.0 out of 5 stars Superb!
A little foamy, a little thin/runny, but it works SO good! I'd recommend using an applicator of sorts (popsicle stick etc) to spread around so you don't have as much run off. A little goes a long way!I am gluing wood to metal - I tried this (Elmer's Glue-All Max), Elmer's Wood Glue Max, 3M/Scotch Super 77 spray and E6000.The E6000 did not hold very well at all. All the rest, I am unable to pry off. Ultimately I think the Super 77 spray is the easiest to use and leaves zero foam, did not seem to absorb into the wood. The Elmer's glues and the E6000 definitely seemed to absorb into the wood (which, when using soft woods, can be a negative), and the foaming / run off was a little annoying - but again, I might have used a little too much glue for my tests. As mentioned, a little goes a long way!The cap is a simple pull off cap which just works. Much easier to work with than the E6000 tubes.I can't fault this glue for not working "perfectly" for my application - the bond is truly amazing, and that's why you buy glue. I will always keep a bottle of Elmer's Wood Glue Max & Glue-All Max around. It's really hard to find the Glue-All Max in stores...if at all, however.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great stick-em hold-em power
Like how it glues various surface types
4.0 out of 5 stars adhesion strong and not fast
it works well for plastic, functions good enough, the only disadvantage is it takes several hours to dry, rather than seconds.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent adhesion
This urethane glue seems to the same as gorilla glue. Apparently, it contains some type of solvent to make it thinner, but I detect no odor. This makes it easier to squeeze out of the bottle, but does not diminish it's strength. I have used it to bond wood, metal, ABS, and fabric. A little moisture insures quick set, but not too much or it will foam all over. I suggest wearing nitrile gloves or similar with all but the smallest projects. If you don't want to mess with epoxy this is a reasonable substitute. When I use up this bottle I will buy more.
5.0 out of 5 stars Order the small bottle.
Order the smaller amount because the glue will harden in the bottle over a period of many months or 2 or 3 years at most. The glue must be applied according to the directions for it to do its job well. When applied according to directions it is a great product.
1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t Hold Very Well
So disappointed in this glue (and I bought 3 bottles and missed the deadline to return). Using it in crafting and let it dry, only to pick up my finished work and pieces fell off because the glue didn’t hold (and yes, I let it dry completely for 3 days).Sure wish I could find the Elmer’s ProBond (unavailable ☹️)
2.0 out of 5 stars Glue holds well, but has no shelf life.
I was only able to use this glue on one miniscule project. It worked well, but I only used maybe 1/10oz of the 4oz bottle. Several months later I pulled it out for a project and the whole upper portion of the bottle had hardened. Tried to salvage what remained, but only ended up with a huge mess. Threw it away and purchased a bottle of Gorilla Glue to replace it. I have yet to use it. It may not last any longer, but we will see. I have used two tubes of some form of polyurethane adhesive produced by 3m. It too went bad over time, but remained usable much longer than the Elmers.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works well
This product works really well as far as it staying together once it dries. I glued several ceramic pieces together and it’s holding well even out in the weather however, the glue does not dry fast so you have to make sure that you can prop it together, so that it can sit and dry.
I highly recommend this for a strong bond.
Very good bond when applied according to instructions. Will foam slightly so be extra careful with items that have a high finish. One of the best adhesives I've used.
