We have been using Allegra for our daughter for many years for year round allergies. For her, it works much better than the other brands of childrens allergy medicine. It is non-drowsy and also doesn't cause the opposite. It costs more than the alternatives. This is because the patents on the liquid childrens Allegra haven't expired yet so there aren't any generics available to help bring the price down. This will change in a couple years when the relevant patents expire. However, if you use it regularly then the 8 ounce bottle is worth it. It would be nice if Bolo made the 8 ounce bottle available with subscribe and save. As of the time I am writing this, it is not.

The Allegra is a good product. I know it is a children's size dosage liquid, but I sometimes take it at night. It doesn't dry my mouth out as much as the tablets. My only complaint is getting the bottle open initially. I follow the instructions and without fail, I have to get out my pliers to get an adequate grip on the cap to get the darn bottle open. Irritates the heck out of me to have to do that. Once the bottle has been opened one time, and the safety seal removed, I can open and close the bottle without any difficulty. It's just the initial opening that is a pain in the patoot! Love the product and wouldn't change a thing about it except for the cap.

This children's Allegra is a good product. I cannot take the regular adult Allegra, so my doctor told me to take the children's version. It helps very much but has no bad effects for me. The taste is not wonderful, but it's not bad either. I've tasted much worse! It has a cherry flavor, and it is palatable, making it easier to swallow in the liquid form.
