5.0 out of 5 stars LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS THING!!!! absolutely top notch and perfect for TONS of different uses!!!!
I ABSOLUTELY love this!!!! I got it because I started to do 5D Diamond Paintings and the drill applicator pens that came with the kits were cheap and hard for me to use, plus I HATED using the pink wax crud you had to put into the ends that didn't work very well and had to keep being replaced at least once a day, if not more! But then I found this handy tool and it works better than anything else I have found! I don't have to keep loading it with anything, because it come already filled with Tac and it stay sticky and picks up the drills for 1000 TIMES longer than any of those other drill applicator tools that are SUPPOSED to be specifically made for diamond painting! I have had it and been using it almost every day for a few months now and it still is almost completely full of the Tac, because when you use it and the Tac on the end either dries out or gets dirty and doesn't stick to the drills as well or at all then all you have to do is gently turn the top a little so it pushes the tac through just a TEENY bit and then twist it back just enough to stop the pressure on the Tac and then scrape the tiny piece of Tac from the tip and then go straight back to you diamond painting again! And when I say you scrape off a TINY piece i really mean a SUPER TINY piece, cuz all you have to remove is the Tac that was just on the very end and the rest is still in perfect condition ready to use! I only have to do this to get to the new Tac and remove the old tip of the Tac literally MAYBE once a week at most, unless I have gone more than a day without using it and it has sat in my storage container with all my tools longer and the Tac at the very tip that has been exposed to the air will dry out a little bit and make it a tad bit harder to stick to the drills EVERY time so I'll scrape that stuff off the top and I'm good to go again!I don't waste a ton of time with trying to load the other applicators with wax crud that doesn't work well and makes my hands all yucky and have a layer of wax on my fingers that doesn't like to just wash of easily because guess what... yeah wax is waterproof so a thin layer of it on your fingers is not just gonna rinse off as if you dumped baby oil all over your hands and then tried to rinse it in the sink! That's more time I can spend on my painting and less time trying to do something that makes me just wanna go do something else before I am even able to start on it!PLUS it has a super handy tool on the other end with 2 different ends so you can just pop it out and turn it over and switch ends easily. I found it SUPER handy for helping line up my diamond drills and pushing them down a little to set them in the adhesive on the canvas. Idk what you'd call the little tool, but it's a very hard plastic stick thing that on one end it comes to a point and on the other end it's like diagonally cut across the plastic stick and the top side of it is straight (it's just like a cuticle pusher tool that comes in all those sets of nail manicure tools, like nail clippers and a nail file, and they sometimes have a little wooden stick with one pointed end and one slanted flat end. It's almost exactly like those!)... I use this end most because it's perfect for using the flat top to push drills over if you stick it a little too far to the side and then the diagonal cut part is perfect for pushing down on the drills to set them in the adhesive when you've gotten it where you want it.I HIGHLY recommend this product to anyone and everyone... whether you're 5D Diamond Painting obsessed, doing arts and crafts with small beads or any other small items, or making jewelry with small beads/other small decorations, this is perfect for you and I promise it will save you so much time, so much money on other tools like tweezers or trying to find other drill applicators that you like, and best of all it will save you a TON of frustration and feeling like you failed because you want to just quit in the middle of a project because you are so frustrated and annoyed with how much of a hassle things are!It will seriously save you and you're projects/art!By the way, I was NOT paid, given ANY free products, or given ANY form of discounted or reduced price in exchange for my review! This is a 100% honest opinion from me as a regular customer that got this product the same way as everyone else has to, by searching for what seemed like forever for what I wanted (while thinking more and more that what i had in mind probably didn't even exist!), finally finding this product after TONS of time spent scrolling through page after page, purchasing it at the same full price that you would pay, and actually using it and genuinely having a good experience with the product.I rely HEAVILY on other customers reviews for all of the products I purchase and I am just a regular customer that wants to make sure that others have an honest, real life, unbiased account of others experiences... just as I'd like the reviews I rely on for other products to be!100% WORTH THE MONEY FOR THIS PRODUCT!!!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome tool for crafting
I love this tool! It is indispensable. I use it for picking up rhinestones and small paper embellishments. The most useful thing that I use it for is to get paper out of dies after I've cut them. A lot of times they are intricate and the paper doesn't come out very easily, but this tool is perfect for doing just that. It is such a good value because it has more of the sticky material stored in the tip. So when it doesn't stick any more, you can just pull off that part and twist the tip then more comes out.
5.0 out of 5 stars Glad I found this.
Well I seem this on you tube and I had to buy it. I am glad I did. Came quickly and damage free. It is very long and a little off balance. No big deal. I like the way it has it own Wax all ready in it. So it was ready when you took it out of the box. It will pick up all the drills and rhinestones and crystals. Any shape it will get the heavy drills it is very good for diamond painting. The one problem I do have with this is that sometimes the wax will have a little to much on the end and if you don't watch it it will oosp on your diamond painting. Other than that. I am glad I found this. The thing I don't know what it's for. The long pointed sharp piece on the other end. When you pull it out the pointed end is dangerous to me. I don't know what it is for.
4.0 out of 5 stars Worth it.
This worked exactly well for me. I add rhinestones to a lot of different items. Usually ss20 (4.7mm) but I work with stones as small as ss12 (3.1mm). I used to used candle wax and skewers because they're cheap and I can toss them without feeling guilty. Well, it wasn't saving me enough time. I debated purchasing a similar, more high quality item that was at least 3x as much as this. I don't rhinestone *enough* for me to justify that purchase.I picked this up and it more than cut crafting time in half. The tool at the end of the device with a flat/pointed end is really helpful. Really aids in separating/adjusting stones that I've pressed too hard into the tacky material. That's why this isn't a 5 star product -- user error. You press to hard, you get sticky stuff on stones. The chamber with the material also feels a little loose a great deal of the time. Still, I'd purchase again because it really helps me get the job done.I was NOT compensated with free stuff and/or a discount in exchange for a review. But who doesn't like a good discount right?
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
Great for my diamond painting, instructions a bit confusing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great DP pen
I love this diamond painting pen! I've tried several and hate the way they work. This pen is easy to use, diamonds stay on the pen and on the picture. Highly recommend!
3.0 out of 5 stars Picks up well but won’t let go
I like that it is sticky enough to pick up lots of different sized embellishments but most of the time it won’t let go and you need to use fingers or tweezers to get the embellishment to stick to your surface and off of the tool. So better than what I had before, but still a bit frustrating.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great crafting tool!
This is just great for picking up small items like beads, sequins, flat back gems, and small paper bits. I highly recommend this. It took them a long time to ship it, but when it finally arrived, it worked great.
muy buena
Excelente herramienta para piezas muy pequeñas, se pegsn facilmente a ella y todo es mas facil.
Huh
It says pack of 2 but I only received 1
Great little tool!
This is just dandy little tool for applying jewels onto the nails! I wish I had known a little better how to worked it as first. I wasted quite a bit of product figuring it out because the instructions aren’t very clear. The trick is to gently touch the gem to pick it up, don't smoosh it in or it won't want to let go once you are done placing it on the nail. Now that I've gotten the knack for it, I've just placed an order for 2 more :)
Why didn't I find this sooner!
This little tool is an absolute game changer for my card making. I use a lot of rhinestones on them, and I was using tweezers one by one, and sometimes them flinging all over the place. with this, it is now twice as fast, and also I have a lot more control over the placement and picking up. Yes all it is, is a piece of plastic with blutac at the end, but I honestly wouldn't have thought about this as a solution before purchasing this tool. You don't get an awful lot of the "tacky substance", but videos on YouTube show how to replace it with blutac, and it is really simple to do. This is now one of the most used tools in my card making supplies, and I honestly wouldn't be without it now!
