Wonderful and unique flavored cane syrup. The syrup is thicker than other syrups, so harder to flow over a biscuit or waffle, but 10 seconds in a microwave will take care of that. There is no other cane syrup that tastes as good as this one.

This is the same wonderful cane [NOT corn] syrup that I first tasted -- well, a very long time ago. And it is packaged in tins just as it was way back then. The modern plastic bottles of Lyle's are very easy to use, but these traditional tins are keepsakes after the last spoonful is poured. ON pancakes and waffles, IN some Scandinavian cookies, of course, but recently I learned that this syrup is very popular in some Asian communities for making traditional mooncakes for the lunar new year and the moon festival in autumn. Enjoy!

I love the extra rich flavor this adds to my baked goods. Regular American syrups and corn syrups are leaps beneath the quality of golden syrup. I and the clients I bake for definitely, notice the difference in flavor. I’ll be using golden syrup for my baking from now own. Yummm!

I'm sure it's fine, but arrived dented. Securely packaged in taped bubblewrap, and outside package was undamaged. Can only surmise it was dented before sold. Don't recall seeing that in the description (sarcasm). I need it for recipe tomorrow or I'd return it.

While visiting Scotland recently we were introduced to flapjacks, a sort of homemade granola bar. They were wonderful and after trying twice to recreate them at home I discovered Lyle’s Golden Syrup. Far better than honey or maple syrup for flapjacks I am so pleased to be using it instead.

Sugar causes cancer, and it feeds cancer sells, this is probably the most concentrated sugar product you can buy. But, if you don't have cancer, WOW is it a kick.
Best on oatmeal
This is comfort food that I miss from my Childhood. Best on oatmeal. Delicious.
