Our founder, Melitta Bentz, invented coffee filters and pour-over brewing in 1908. For over 100 years, Melitta has remained a pioneer in coffee, coffee filters and coffee brewers. Our paper filters are 100% biodegradable. We offer filters for cone, flat bottom basket, percolators and single serve coffee brewers. Our filters are produced using chlorine-free white, natural brown and bamboo paper. In addition to filters, we offer a wide range of coffees and brewers including pour- overs, carafes, pour-over kits, coffee makers, kettles, drip coffeemakers, and even our own premium, batch-roasted coffee. Our coffee beans are sourced from farms located in prime coffee-producing regions. We batch roast and grind our beans extra fine in true European fashion - bringing out the coffee's full flavor. We have used disposable tea filters from Melita and several other manufacturers for years. This one is the best of the lot! We use these things not just for my wife's morning pot of tea, but also as a bundler for aromatics in soups, stews, sauces, etc (just fill the bag, fold down the open end, and staple it). The bag hold up VERY well to percolating in a soup pot all day.Also, while it is more or less white (slightly beige, actually), it is not BLEACHED white! The bags have no residual chemicals from bleaching that I can sense. And they are priced better than other comparable brands. Overall, this product is a WINNER!!

I used to use the Finum Medium tea filters, but tried these because the price went up like crazy on Finum filters here on Bolo. These are probably a bit narrower (maybe 1.5-2 inches wide), but they are very long, so are sufficiently large and can hold more tea than you probably will make at one time. The fold-over flap is nice to help keep the tea in. For this price, you get a lot of value and it's a great product.

These tea filters are the best! They are open at the end and do not seal and should not go all the way into the teacup with water, or sediment will get in your tea. So, I seal the bag with my Nesco vacuum sealer and they stay sealed and do not get too hot when sealed. Then I can put the whole teabag down in my water and leave it and boy does it keep the fine sediment out of my tea with my herbal teas, especially the Mullein Tea I really need for a respiratory thing I have goin on right now, because the loose sediment still gets in the tea when I use the metal tea wells. Love them?

these are unbleached paper tea filters. they are large enough for a large pot of tea and small enough for a single cup. these produce an lovely brew. i have reordered these several times (twice here) and have found them to be the best. i don't drink coffee so i 've tested enough papers over the years, that i believe these are the best.

A great way to enjoy a fast cup of the better teas that are available in loose form only.The 6-pak pricing is a pretty good deal.

I receive only a single dented box of tea filters. Not the 6 boxes advertised in the description. This may be only a shipping error and not deliberate hoodwinking, but it still is a disappointment. I have a bunch of dried herbs that require bagging. The tea filters themselves have worked well when I have used them in times past.
