5.0 out of 5 stars 2011 Silverado LS swap
Very happy with this leveler. Nicely made and comes mostly all assembled.Performed well and helped immensely with removing the broke motor and installing the new one. Especially useful for angling the motor exactly to mate with the transmission in the truck.I recommend a good lubricant on the exposed main leveling screw (Schaeffers Penetro worked great!).
5.0 out of 5 stars Great tool and great price
Bought this hoist accessory to make my work easier. I remove and install engines as part of my retirement work. Had a friend that used this type unit and was impressed, but his broke down due to inferior construction. Saw this on Bolo at a give-away price and figured I would take the leap. Could not believe how well this hoist adapter works, regardless of big block or small block engine size. It is easy to bolt up. It is compact in size. But, best of all, the threaded position system works effortlessly. Big Red continues to make good and reliable products.
4.0 out of 5 stars A Great Tool, One Small Change Makes it a 5-Star
Overall, this tilt fixture or engine leveler is very handy when pulling an engine and especially if you're pulling the engine and transmission at the same time. The ability to lift the payload is great and helps clear obstacles.Pictures are of the automatic transmission from a 2008 BMW E60 528i, where the tilt fixture help me get the transmission off the jack and up onto my workbench. I also used it to position the transmission for various repair operations.Chain and figure are very high quality, but the turning handle tends to hit into the chain, even at moderate angles. The opposite end from the rotation handle has three locations for where you want to attach your chain shackle. The addition of similar holes on the opposite end, where the handle is turned, would be helpful since you could attach the shackle inboard 1-2 holes to miss fouling the lift chain.One other pesky issue is that you need to remove the handle to fit the fixture and chain back into the box for storage, since this is not a frequently used item.Overall functional and high quality.

Strong well built.Works well with engine hoist
5.0 out of 5 stars Worked Great for the Price
Used this to pull a Big Block Ford 460 attached to a C6 transmission from our car. It handled the 900lb no problem. Highly recommend greasing the threads of the adjuster, as turning the handle to help it rebalance is difficult with the small knob and handle. Still a good buy though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Worked great - while it lasted
I did two engine swaps with this tool and it worked well overall with some caveats.There are a few minor gripes that others have mentioned - at steep angles the handle interferes with a chain which can make it difficult or impossible to turn, and the plastic knob on the handle comes unthreaded.The leveler will drop shavings as the metal rod and guide cylinder wear. You will want to make sure there are no openings for those shavings to land in and potentially cause harm.My leveler experienced a failure of the metal cylinder the threaded rod passes through to angle the engine. The threads internal to that cylinder wore out from use, resulting in it skipping teeth while trying to adjust the angle. These loads were well within the weight rating, this is simply result of wear.I suggest adding grease to the threaded rod to reduce wear on the rod and particularly the positioning cylinder. That may increase the useful life of the wear components. It may also reduce the amount of shavings that land on your engine.Disappointing it's not more durable. 3 stars because it's "only" $30 and did 2 swaps (2 out, 2 in), although the last install was made more challenging due to the limited ability to change the angle.
EXCELLENT
Worked very well for my intended use's. For the price, absolutely nothing to complain about.
Buen producto
Calidad precio bastante fincional

Good for pulling and engine with gearbox
Pulled my engine out my mx5/Miata using this. Made it very easy, although threads will need some grease for easier tilting and could do with more angle. But overall really good and useful!
A++
