TERRO Outdoor Liquid Ant Baits are ideal for large ant infestations. It attracts and kills all common household ants including Argentine ants, ghost ants, cornfield ants, pavement ants, acrobat ants, white footed ants, little black ants, odorous house ants and other sweet eating ants. To attract and kill ants, simply place the pre-filled, ready-to-use liquid bait stations outdoors in areas where ants are observed and, if desired, secure baits with the stakes provided. The bait stations can also be placed on decks, or in garages or basements without using the stakes. Ants typically follow defined trails from the nest to food or water. Placing the outdoor ant baits close to these trails will improve control. The patented outdoor ant baits prevent the liquid bait from drying out, providing the ants with a continuous supply of food, day and night.

Prior to putting out this ant bait, there were lots of ants coming into the house (like 30-100 or so ants) from different locations, which changes here and there, some locations more than others, it was very frustrating. This area of housing, all have ant problems. I think the ants we have here are Argentine Ants.>>Ant bait started: 06/24/2016Pros:Very simple to use and attract ants very fast after they find the deadly concoction, then the ants just keep coming and going into the bait trap.Cons:Instructions state to push the white thin plastic cap down to break the seal, then twist a 1/4 turn. It's almost impossible to twist the 1/4 turn after pushing the cap down, since the white plastic cap is so flimsy and held tight by 4 clips, the cap just get all squished up. Because of that, the first bait trap, I accidentally dripped out some of the concoction, which you can see the image review result of ants lapping it up like they were at an Irish pub.NOTE: With the next bait trap, I made sure part of the visible aluminum foil is pressed down as much as possible and twisted toward one of the four clips, then push the cap down, then carefully pull on one of the clips to loosen it up a bit, but not so hard to break it, then twist that 1/4 turn, that made it much easier to twist, then press down the top of the white cap to essentially squeeze the concoction out to leak into the inside of the trap faster. Just to get the ants to find it quicker, I carefully tip the trap to purposely spill a little bit of the concoction out on the ground and that gets the ants going quicker.Conclusion:So far, it seems to be attracting the ants very well, so 4 stars for now. I put out four traps outdoor at four different locations(probably four different colonies), once I see that if the ants stop coming into the house or the numbers drop dramatically, I'll update the star rating at that time. Sorry ants and Antman.>>UPDATE: 6/27/2016Since I put out the four ant baits at different locations, I have not seen a single ant in the house. Some trails are starting to petered out, while others are still somewhat heavy, I guess two of the four colonies are bigger. Guess we'll see after a total of two weeks or so to see how it's working. So far, seems to be working, at least to keep the ants out of the house.>>UPDATE 7/1/2016Still not a single ant in the house that I can find. Noticed two baits that most likely lead to one colony, started to petered out a LOT. I called the manufacturer, they suggested if that's the case, to take the baits away and do not put out new baits for at least a couple of days, if too soon, it'll just attract more ants from elsewhere. If the ants are back after a couple of days, then put out new baits.Next door neighbor said they started having ant issue about 2 days ago.Then not long after, I started noticing more ants with the remaining two baits(which I was about to take away), coming from the neighbor's side, probably another 2 colonies. Now, I have to leave those baits out longer, until it peters out.The manufacturer stated that the bait will last about 3 months. I keep mine shaded, to keep it from drying out quicker than it should.>>UPDATE 7/3/2016Noticed ONE ant in the house on the kitchen counter.>>UPDATE 7/8/2016Noticed a lot less(practically nothing) activities, so I called the manufacturer and they suggested taking the baits away and let them share what they've gotten thru the colonies, so I did. Still no ants in the house yet.>>UPDATE 7/10/2016Found another heavy trail of ants in a different location, probably from the neighbor's house, so another ant bait is put out.Other than that, the previous ant baits that I've put out and finally thrown away, no more ants at those locations so far.>>UPDATE 8/3/2016Found about 10 scout ants in the bedroom, but could not locate where they are coming from, nor any new heavy trails outside to put a new ant bait. It's still much better than before using this ant bait.>>UPDATE 9/7/2016Noticed some ants coming into the master bedroom by chewing thru the painter's chaulk at the bottom of the baseboard about a week or two prior to this update, even though I patched up some tiny holes a couple of times. So, I put out a Terro indoor ant bait at that location, but they are not really going crazy for it. Then on 9/7, I noticed a new heavy ant trail outdoor where an existing outdoor ant bait was just taken away a few days before, so I put out another new outdoor ant bait in the same area and the ants are going for it. Man, this is like a never ending battle. Hence I have a small stock piled of this ant bait stuff.I've also updated from 4 to 5 stars, this bait really works if you use it right, to keep the ants from coming into the your home.>>UPDATE 11/26/2016It's been about 2-2.5 months now since the last update, even when raining, have not seen a single ant in the house and I have yet to put out any new ant baits, either outdoor or indoor, but I do see a small amount of ants outside and hopefully they'll stay out.>>UPDATE 12/18/2016After the recent rain, there are now ants in the house, coming through the caulking of the baseboard in the bathroom and living room, so started using the Terro indoor T300B ant baits and they are going bananas over it. No ants outdoor. I don't know if it's the ant bait or me giving them the mad stare(I think it's the mad stare). Still, I hoarded a little stash of this ant bait in my garage, just in case if I need it. I'm ready for any new ant zombie apocalypse.>>UPDATE 06/20/2017Wow, after about 5-6 months of not seeing a single ant, just noticed two heavy ant trails. One trail, the ants are getting thru the floor's heat vent, into the dinning room floor mainly and a little on the counter. I went to get this WMD and put out two baits outdoor, one at each location. Within an hour, with the first bait where the ants are coming into the house, the ants has already found the entrance to my new pub establishment and the customers are already lined up going in and out, free drinks for everyone, unfortunately, I won't get repeat customers. If this keeps up, I can open up a franchise of pubs, more stores than McD or Subway.>>UPDATE 07/28/2017Still no ants in the house where they were coming in from the update of 06/20/2017. The one bait in the backyard still had heavy activities as of yesterday. Today, no actions, checked the bait, it was empty, I'm gonna take it away tonight and see if any ants will start coming into the house from the last location, if not, I'll leave them be. The other bait is still out and attracting ants and not empty yet. However, there are a minute of ants coming in from somewhere in the master bedroom and bathroom, starting about 1.5 weeks ago.A couple of days after, started seeing a few ants in the same kitchen area.I think this will be my last update and hope the other updates help with potential ant fighters to decide if this is right for them or not. Good luck to all with the never ending war :)>>UPDATE 9/6/2017What the heck, I'll give one more update.A few days ago, it was very hot, the hottest it has been for a long time, the ants were on a rampage in the living room and bedroom, 100+ per room, one of the worse I've seen. Like the North Korean war, no matter how many you wipe out really quick, there is another swarm of them coming.For the dining room, they found one little food crumb and they came round about to get to it, I cleaned and vacuumed the area, put out an ant bait outdoor where they were coming in from the backyard, within an hour or two, no more ants in the living room and they went for the bait outside instead heavily. But, within two days, they petered out tremendously from the backyard and so I took the bait way. So far, barely any ants in the backyard and none in the living/dining room, so this area is done for now.The bedroom, holy crap, they were coming in drones, laid out two indoor baits, one leaked all over the wood floor over time, which attracted a lot of the little suckers. So, I decided to clean the area up of that very sticky stuff and removed the two baits, then put out a new outdoor bait instead and now they are going for that, not as many ants as before, but still a good amount, may take another few days or a week or two.After using both outdoor and indoor baits, I prefer the outdoor, does not spill as easily.>>UPDATE 05/04/2018Sometime after the last update, there was a large number of ants coming from the backyard and into the house, so I put another bait out and this time I just left it out, ants or no ants. The ants comes and goes, but when they come, they find and go for the bait instead, therefore keeping them from going into the house. In the last 6+ months at least, I may have come across a few ants (less than 10) inside the house with one bait. As of this writing, the bait is still sitting outside shaded.>>UPDATE 08/11/2018The freaking ants came in from a different location not long ago after the last update, cause they found something on the floor in the kitchen, cleaned in up, found the trail, put out more of this bait outdoor and they stopped coming in soon after. After leaving the baits out ALL the time in the new and old locations (OUTDOOR), no ants in the house. I even replaced the worn out bait at the old locations with new ones, ants or no ants, nothing still, for NOW! This may be the end of the Ant-Man trilogy.>>UPDATE 04/20/2019Since I've been leaving out the outdoor ant bait, ants or no ants, have not seen a single ant in the house so far, F-ing A!>>UPDATE 09/01/2019Since the last time I put out two new baits, it must've been atleast 6+ months, checked it here an there and noticed that there is still some weight inside, so they are no empty, noticed a very small amount of ants still going in and out of them and not a freaking one in the house. Cool mofo!Today, I decided to change them out for new ones, ones that I've had sitting in my garage stash for about a year+. The first one, I noticed that the liquid was not dripping out easily, like it's gummed up just by sitting around in the garage, so i put that one in one location anyway, had to push the cap down hard, then it would slowly drip out like very thick syrup, where it should be dripping like thin syrup. With the second one, I upside down it under hot water for about 5 mins before use, after that, when I shook it, you can hear the liquid moving inside, unlike the other gummed up one. Not sure if by heating it up with hot water, if it will gum up again soon after, but I took it to the 2nd location and dripped some out to get the ants going quicker, it dripped out smoothly, like if you just bought it recently.>>UPDATE 9/5/2019Update from the previous 9/1/2019. I just looked at the one bait that I stated was gummed up without using hot water, ants are having a small pool party there without inviting me as the nice generous host(my feeling is kinda hurt for not getting an invite), not huge, but they are coming and going, doing the Irish jig as they are leaving. More ants are coming to this new renovated pub, compared to the old worn out one that I just threw away prior.The other bait, not too many ants. Blah...

If you are reading this, you are having Ant problems. I would like to share my experience so that you know the right way to kill Ant and don't need to spent the effort (of study and kill) like I did to get ride of Ant.I am having Ant problem this year in the kitchen, front window, and upstairs bath room. I have done lots of research about how to dealing with Ants and tried many products (Terro indoor/outdoor liquid bait, Terro Aerosol, Terro Insect Bait, Terro Ant Dust, Ant Max Bait Station, Ortho Home defense Max, Ortho Ant dust, Ortho Bug-B-gun, and others, etc... After 2 months of fighting and now finally, I get ride of Ant. I am writing this review.I. Knowing the Products:1). Liquid bait:It works pretty well (sweet Ants). However, some problems:A). Tt does not work all the time. Some Ants just don't eat it (protein Ant)a. We observe there are ants avoid liquid bait for one week and finally use other method to kill them (see below).B). It takes a long time (from 5 days to 8 weeks).C). Ant is not necessary eat it right away. In some case, tt take a while for Ants to eat it (even we put bait with on Ant's path.D). 95% of Ant die within 3~5 days. However, some Ants still show up here and there once a while.2). Dust and Aerosol:Kill Ant instantly on contact. Also, prevent Ant to come back. However, Ants can still walk over floor was spray (dust). They might die much later somewhere else.3). Home Defense and Insect Bait:Not as strong as above product. It is good to use for prevention. Ant die if Home defense spray on them directly. However, Ants walk over the sprayed floor without any program.4). Bug-B Gon. I apply three time with water them down. And it does not seems to work too well to solve my problem.II. Knowing Ants:1). Ants likes 2 of 3 following items: food, water, and shelter.=> Don't let Ants have what they like. They won't come.2). Need to kill the Queen in the colony to solve the problem. However, it takes a long time.3). Two type of ants (sweet and protein) so use different bait for them.III. Fighting procedure:1). Finding where they come from:This is very important. Use peanut butter on index card (or indoor liquid bait) to attract Ant. Following the Ants to trace down where they come from. Most of time, they come from the hole (in the wall) where water pipe come in. => Use outdoor bait outside near where the pipe come in. If you use indoor bait, make sure don't disturb Ants once they take the baits (even it is very disgusting)2). Finding Ants Outsides:Walk around your house and visually exam to see if you see Ants around your outside wall, foundation. => Use Outdoor baits (use more than one at one time) outside on place you find the ants.3). Once Ant disappear (or reduce to less than 5%, wait for 1 week after Ant take the bait).a). Use Dust (need a sprayer) or Aerosol on the hole (where Ant come in) or Ant's colony (2 ~ 3 times) until Ant completely disappear.b). Use plumber putty to seal the hole inside or caulk the outside crack.4). Use Home Defense indoor along wall (as instruction) around the house.5). Use Home Defense outdoors on the house perimeter.6). Repeat step 5 before Sprint time and once every 2 months.Hopefully this helps you to fight Ant completely.
Reasonable product
Removed ants for a while, bit now they're back and containers empty, their indoor product is great but this didn't work well. But I am under invasion from big ants.

well, Ants doesn't like it, put on the path of ants and still many ants are passing. Used for 2 weeks. Looks the number of ants was reduced but only several dead ants.
