5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Black Cherry Extract for Gout Attacks!
Besides using a prescribed Colchicine drug, this time I decided to try this Black Cherry Extract I have read about for Gout attacks. Besides taking this extract, I avoided eating any red meat and shellfish, avoided drinking any alcohol, and drank one glass of cherry juice for breakfast as shown and then water for the rest of the day. The first picture of my ugly feet shows my left foot with a full-blown Gout on Day 1, just before I started taking the Black Cherry Extract. It took about 4 days for it to become full-blown. I allowed the Gout to become full-blown on Day 1 so I could measure the true effectiveness of the extract (and wait for Bolo to ship it). Notice the swelling of my whole foot and the redness of the toe. I followed the instructions on the extract label for the first 4 days (2 capsules per day, 1 capsule at breakfast and 1 capsule at dinner) to watch and feel any results and to see if there were any side effects. Unfortunately, by Day 4 I really couldn’t tell any improvement, but there were no side effects whatsoever. So, on Day 5 thru Day 7, I increased the intake to 1 capsule for breakfast, 2 capsules for lunch, and 1 capsule for dinner (doubling the dosage). On Day 7, the swelling has gone down and the pain has greatly diminished where I could wiggle my toe, move my foot, and actually put most of my weight onto my foot and walk almost normal again. Again, no side effects whatsoever. On Day 8, I felt good enough to go out and mow my yard using a self-propelled mower that took me an hour and a half to finish, my foot was still a little sore but no problem. By Day 9 as the last picture shows, it is almost all cleared up with still some soreness and no side effects, but now I can focus on regaining my leg strength from the ordeal of pain and atrophy.With this in mind, I have concluded this extract works, but the instructions for 2 capsules a day are most likely a routine of caution and prevention by the manufacturer. I believe when a Gout attack has occurred (and before it becomes full blown like I allowed it to be), one needs to be much more aggressive in the intake amount of this extract where I’m sure it would fully arrest it in much less than 9 days. The next time I sense getting a Gout attack I will try 2 capsules 3 times a day as an aggressive routine to knock it out much quicker than what I just did…. if that works even better, then I hope this company keeps this extract in stock because it’s better than drugs!! By the way, I’m not a doctor, I’m a retired Electrical Engineer that loves to experiment, and I want positive results.

I used to have debilitating gout. Even air blowing on my toes or the weight of a light bed sheet would cause excruciating pain...let alone trying to walk or stand.I generally take 1 per day and my gout symptoms are mostly gone as long as I take care of my feet (don't walk to much, be careful to not let anything hit or be dropped on them, avoid hot weather, try to stay healthy in general, etc). Sometimes if I have a flare up (but even those are much less common) or there's some trauma to my body to help cause the onset of it, I just take an extra pill and that usually helps calm it down.I definitely like taking 1 of these capsules more than having to tale multiple tablets for similar effect. Less additives in here than some of the other tablets too. The capsules also hold up better against heat, moisture. I've had a sticky mess w/ tablets many times.Price is also good and arrives quickly.I was not compensated for this review, nor was I offered anything free in exchange for an honest review (though I sure wouldn't complain if puritans pride hooked me up w/ something).

its always questionable when purchasing pain meds or some type of consumable meds on Bolo or website that isnt prescribed by doctors or anyone for me. I have had gouts at least once a year until this year when i have been having 2-3 times now. This led me to believe into 3 things, my kidney has issues processing uric acid, and as doctors would tell you, uric acid is supposed to be filtered by the kidney and sent to the bladder for excretion, basically you PEE out uric acid. If you keep getting gout, two things that occur, you're consuming too much purine-rich food like red meat, alcohol, or vegetables rich in purine. ANd that your kidney cannot handle all of the filtrations and it goes directly into the bloodstream. Bloodstream will then be overflowed and uric acid is excreted on to our muscles and reaching or attracting the bone joints and mostly from knees to foot. The pain that we feel are anti-bodies fighting off the uric acid attacking our joints. And the only cure our doctor tells us is pain meds to help ease the pain. Gout just doesnt go away overnight, its at least one or two weeks. I have been taking doctor prescribed "indomethacin" that helps ease the pain a lot. I also wanted to find a way to find a way into helping myself from this so I started changing my diet. And lately Ive heard celery and black cherries are helpful in preventing uric acid build up. I did research, and consensus tells me all across the web that people do use this method and I wanted to try them for myself. Today is the first day I'm writing this review because I just got it. My review is for the speed and quality of the product. I will report back in 2-3 days or a week for any changes. im suffering from a terrible gout now going into my 2nd week. it has been such a dreadful week because ive lost wage from work, unable to walk around the house to do anything and i feel like Stephen Hawking right now where i literally can't do anything because of this.

I know this works, I have used the Black Cherry extract for about 10 years. I have just started to take more than the two per day. I believe I got gout in my shoulder, have went to 4 per day. I have noticed a benefit. I read where someone got confused with the 100 and 200 count bottle. That is why I said read the bottle label. I will keep taking, IT WORKS. A CHEAP PRICE TO AVOID GOUT.
