5.0 out of 5 stars This is the best litter. Last a long time
I have two cats and I have tried clay and other cob litters. I find cob litter is cleaner, last twice as long and smells great. The clumping is precise and it's doesn't stick to sides of box. The cats don't have a trail of litter everywhere. It's so easy to clean. I clean box daily and add two cups to the box about every three to four days. Money saver because it works so well. I have saved close to $30 a month just going to this litter. My litter going forward is this one. Happy cats. Happy fur baby mom.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very lightweight, super absorbant. Scent on the strong side
This litter is VERY lightweight and clumps extremely well. The scent however is on the strong side. If scent were reduced by 50-60% it would be perfect.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best cat litter and I have 3 cats
I’ve tried a wide variety of cat litter, but I have used this brand for years. I have three cats and five kittens now and my house does not smell like cats. No I’m not nose blind. This litter is a saving grace when it comes to so many cats. There’s no extra dust when changing it out and it doesn’t smell like cat litter. Also, my vacuum doesn’t hate me when I have to clean up. It clumps up nicely and it masks the smell of their end trails. I recommend to anyone with cats or kittens and I will continue buying this forever.
4.0 out of 5 stars Best natural clumping litter, but room for improvements
My cat has PICA and eats clay litter so I have to use clayless litters instead. I've tried many and this is the only natural one that doesn't leave visible dust on my cat's legs. Most leave a layer of brown dust that gets everywhere. Little dusty footprints on the furniture. Odor control is also good, definitely better than others I've tried. The clumps aren't very dense and break up if you shake your sifter too vigorously but nothing is going to beat clay for clumping. That said, the scent... oof. VERY strong for several days after replacing the entire pan. Smells like industrial cleaning products. I wish they made it pine scented like the Nature's Miracle litter. I've tried silica litter, the kind with the little blue crystals. The Breaking Bad litter. No dust at all but it isn't biodegradable and the little crystals hurt to step on. That stuff doesn't really clump at all either. All in all this is the best clayless litter I've tried. Will it beat clay litter in most categories? No. But it's biodegradable and if you can't use clay litter, this is the one.
5.0 out of 5 stars More positives than negatives!
So to give you an introduction to my litter box situation, I use an automatic litterbox that scoops 15 minutes after it detects motion, and dumps it into a tray that you can line with a bathroom trash bag. I've used it for a few years now, and I've been primarily using Tidy Max Multi Action Lightweight cat litter with it, since the regular weighted cat litter sticks and cakes to the bottom (basically getting suck underneath the scooper so it stinks after 1-2 days). When I saw this cat litter I knew I had to give it a try, and I can tell you... I have found way more positives than negatives:Positives:- This bag fills the large plastic pail Tidy Cats sells. Is about the same weight as the lightweight formula, and is HALF the price. I spend $22 on the refill boxes for the pail. This is $10.- Because of the litterbox I use, it does absorb extremely well and gets scooped out before any issues can arise with it caking to the bottom. Unless my cats dig too far down - I haven't had that issue though.- It's not clay based so it's more natural for my cats. And easier on their paws. And WAY LESS DUST.- For me at least (I've seen complaints about the smell), I appreciate that it doesn't start to smell like urine after 1-2 days. I still change out the tray and scoop out any excess every 2-3 days but... it still smells good!Negative:- When I first switched it out.... I will say I was not PLEASED with the scent of the litter, though I prefer it to urine. It reminded me of the smell my Method All-Purpose cleaner has, which was a bit concerning but I know that IF essential oils are used as an odor blocker IT WILL HAVE A STRONG SMELL AT LEAST AT FIRST. If your cats are scent sensitive... this might not be a good idea. But it does block a lot if the urine/ammonia smells that other litters claim to block. All in all... I enjoy this litter. I've only had it for about a week and if that changes I'll update my review but so far, I'm a fan.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great, natural scented cat litter
Clumps very well. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering but may still cause issues for anyone with a sensitive nose. Way lighter than clay and biodegradable. Sold!
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent priced corn litter!
The fragrance is bit strong for me—but we only have 1 cat. Clumps well! Easy to clean up and not as heavy as other litter. I am buying more and recommend it if your cat approves, of course!
3.0 out of 5 stars Strong smell, I don't mind but makes my cats sneeze.
A little on the pricey side for litter but I wanted to get something nice for my kitties. Unfortunately probably going to have to switch around and find something that doesn't make them sneeze.Pros: clumps well, tracking isn't the worst ever in the world, keeps ammonia odors down.Cons: cats don't really like it (I have two boxes, they prefer whichever box has the oldest and least scented litter) makes one sneeze a lot, super strong artificial scent, decently dusty (cats come out of the box with a little layer on them).
Powerful Odor Control
The standout feature of this cat litter is its exceptional odor control. Even in a multi-cat household, it effectively neutralizes odors, creating a fresher and more pleasant environment. I appreciate that ARM & HAMMER Naturals Cat Litter incorporates natural ingredients, providing a safer and more eco-friendly option for my cats. The low dust formula is a significant plus, especially for cats and owners sensitive to dust. It contributes to a cleaner litter area and reduces respiratory concerns.A little goes a long way with this cat litter. The 18-pound bag lasts for an extended period, making it a cost-effective choice for multi-cat households. While the quality is evident, the price is relatively higher compared to some other cat litters in the market. It is a top-notch choice for cat owners seeking superior odor control and a more natural litter option. Despite the slightly higher cost, the benefits, including the long-lasting formula and low dust, make it a worthwhile investment in maintaining a clean and odor-free litter area for your feline companions.
"Natural"
Great corn litter
I used Nature's Mìracle Premium Clumping Corn Cob Litter for years but the last time I needed a new bag it was sold out everywhere. This litter seemed pretty similar (clumping, corn based litter) so I bought a bag on Bolo. I paid 31$, which seemed reasonable to me considering what I pay for the litter I normally use, but it turns out Walmart sells this litter for 18$, so I wouldn't recommend buying it on Bolo unless they lower the price.A lot of people complained of a strong perfume on the litter but I didn't find the smell was very strong. Nature Miracle's pine scent was stronger however it dissipated within 24h of pouring it in the box whereas this litter's scent fades a bit but you can still smell it when you stiff through it to clean the box. While I would prefer the litter to be unscented, I think the scent is nice (much nicer than pine) and my cat doesn't seem bothered by the scent at all. This litter has a lot less dust than Nature Miracle's but the amount of tracking is about the same. It clumps really nicely and solidifies clumps a bit faster than NM. Some reviewer complained that the clumps came apart but I think it's just that corn litter needs more time. I've used 3 different brands of corn litters over a decade and I've noticed that it's better to wait half an hour or more before cleaning the clumps of urine otherwise they are still soft in the center and may come apart when you pick them up.I've noticed this litter seems to be going down faster but since it's much cheaper I don't think it's a problem.Although I wish it was unscented, that the bag was resealable and had some sort of handle somewhere to help carry it, this is overall a great corn litter.I love that there is a lot less dust on my cat's paws (and it's so much cheaper)!
Lightweight.
I have arthritis and with this litter I can lift the lumps out of the litterbox with ease. I have used that clay stuff and I can't even get to the bottom of the box,it is so solid. The first time I used this, when I scooped,I nearly tossed it over my shoulder because I was used to digging roughly to get the solid lumps of litter. This was unavailable for a while and I started buying Nature's Miracle Corn cob litter. It worked fine but I prefer this one.
