We had to retire our old Calphalon pan because it was worn out and the finish was coming off. We bought this pan for the value and because of the high reviews. Well, we have had this pan for about 3 days and have already cooked several meals in it, eggs, fajitas, fried rice. I didn't use oil in the pan except for the eggs -- a little butter because we like the flavoring.Pros: The pan is truly non-stick -- it is a joy to cook in, and it is very easy to clean. You could almost wipe it out and put it away, but we handwash it with soft sponges and wipe it dry. Love the raised edges, which enable a slightly larger quantity of food such as stir fries that have lots of veggies. Nothing has escaped and gone into the flame or splattered onto the gas cook top. We haven't used it in the oven so cannot comment on that.Things to get used to: The lid is a definite plus, although the handle got a little hot for my taste. In addition, the pan is lighter than what we're used to, we found we had to consistently hold the handle when stirring or flipping food, otherwise the pan tends to slide around on the grate.All in all, this is a great buy, and with care it should last for a few years. Food comes out absolutely delicious!

Well made and a nice size. I like T-Fall skillets. I cook a lot so I needed quality cookware and this one is heavier and well made. It should be great for everyday cooking and the price was good.

Will stay non-stick forever if my husband doesn't sneak and use things like forks and metal tongs in it, and as long as I keep padding between it and anything stacked on top. Styrofoam plates work great for that. Nice color selection, worth every penny,not scratch proof but like I said, stick to a few simple rules and it is possible not to scratch these up so bad they start to stick. Once they are sticking it's time to buy new ones. Light weight, and covered handles so you won't burn your hand.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very useful pan with a "non-stick" surface that really is non-stick
I searched for quite a while before purchasing this pan. I've been trying to gradually upgrade my cookware for a while and needed to replace my non-stick skillet. I purchased this one because it came so highly recommended on Bolo and the price was much less than other brand name "non-stick" pans.Since my purchase, I've used it to make several omelets very little butter or oil. I also used it to brown sausage and saute vegetables for a casserole. I was surprised that it truly was non-stick and clean up was extremely easy. Just a rinse and a wipe with a sponge or paper towel, no scrubbing needed. The description says that this pan is dishwasher safe, but I don't wash any of my non-stick skillets in the dishwasher and I don't think its necessary because hand washing is so easy.Though the package says that metal utensils can be used, I generally don't. Many higher quality skillets are "open" meaning they don't come with a lid and it must be purchased separately. This model includes a nice tempered glass lid with a built in vent hole.The pan is hard anodized aluminum with a silicone covered stay cool handle for both the skillet and the lid. This makes the handle easy to grip and it is cool to the touch. The only drawback is that the pan is oven safe to only 350 degrees. If the handle was stainless steel it would be higher. This is not a great hardship for me, but means that it can't be used to "finish" some dishes in the oven.This skillet also has a Thermo-Spot heat Indicator which is to show when the pan has reached the proper temperature by changing color. I found this to be a fairly useless feature because I don't see a significant color change. Maybe this is a personal issue but it doesn't affect the functionality of the pan.All in all, I think this is a very versatile, functional pan at a very reasonable price and would recommend it for anyone who needs a truly non-stick pan. I haven't had it long enough to judge the durability of the non-stick surface over time, but since it costs about one third the price of other national brand "non-stick" pans, I won't be upset when it inevitably wears out and I need to replace it.

When we needed a new fry pan, we checked America's Test Kitchen's recommendations. This T-fal was one of their top pans, so we gave it a try. It's really nice. Can a fry pan actually be fun? Well, we are smiling when we cook with this pan. The pan itself is sturdy but light, and perfectly flat on the bottom, which works great on our flat top stove. Our last pan was convex, so only a small area made contact with the stove top and heat distribution was terrible. No problem with that here. The glass lid and large long handles make manipulating the pan very easy. So far it cleans up very easily.

This pan is such a great size for cooking for one or two people. I love that it is oven-friendly, too. Not quite as heavy, but cooks like cast iron!Also has a great glass lid with steam vent. Cooks very evenly.

I needed a new 10 inch fry pan to replace my existing one in which the coating had gone bad. I used this T-fal pan yesterday for the first time and am very happy with it! It’s a good idea to read the instructions that come with this fry pan. I prepped it with a washing and wiped it with cooking oil. I followed the instructions about the heat level when cooking and my bacon was perfect! Washing it by hand was easy, and that’s probably what I will continue to do, but it can go in the dishwasher. Great purchase for me!

My favourite pan
This has become my all-time favourite pan for frying anything. It has a very tough nonstick coating and everything just slides off it. It’s a breeze to clean up with just a paper towel. I have washed it a few times when something was burnt on, but all it needed was warm water, no detergent. I only had to let it sit for a few minutes and the burnt food slid right off. I’m very impressed, having had disappointing experiences with non-stick fry pans in the past which lost their non-stickiness very quickly. I’ve had it a couple of months now, and use it practically every day. Looks just as good as new. The other thing I really like about it is that it is perfectly flat, and with a ceramic top, this is important.
Teflón resistente
Es un sartén excelente. Estuve demorándome en comprar palas de silicona para cuidarlo porque otros se han dañado con las palas de madera o plástico, pero no lo he hecho y lo he estado usando con esas palas por algunos meses y está intacto. Es muy resistente y con buena capacidad. Tener tapa lo hace muy versátil.
High quality, versatile product
Excellent cookware product -- thick aluminum non-stick saute pan, unlikely to warp. With a 10-inch width at the top and vertical sides, the usable width of the bottom is still 8.5 inches. The tall sides allow it to substitute as a saucepan. The Thermo-spot is helpful to indicate pre-heated. Ovenproof to 400F. If we (two people) had to choose only one pot / pan, this would be it.
