About this item:
This Brennan hex nipple is a stainless steel 316 pipe fitting with male National Pipe Taper (NPT) threads on both ends for joining two pipes or extending pipe length. It has NPT threads for creating tighter seals than straight threads and is made from stainless steel 316, which is more corrosion resistant than stainless steel 304. The hexagonal shape allows for increased leverage during installation and disassembly with a wrench. This fitting meets SAE J514 specifications for quality assurance.

This is a great item for installing a stop and waste hydrant to plastic schedule 40 pipe.Screw this into the hydrant pipe and the other end into a female pipe end.It is a lot stronger than using the male plastic nipple that can easily snap off.This won't rust out like a galvanized nipple!A little expensive but cheaper and easier than digging it up again when the plastic nipple breaks!

This is a high quality 1/2" nipple, USA quality, well cut threads, 316 Stainless. I am using these as a connecting nipple from a 4000 psi pressure washer pump to couple the pressure regulator/unloader. The original supplied junk were steel nipples. Steel rusts in pressure washers. These a first rate SS.

I don't know where this was made but it sure is unusual but delightful to see something made with such high quality. This size perfectly fits a 11 mm wrench.Delivery was estimated to take 3-4 weeks when purchased but was only about a week and a half.

seems to be doing well for my purpose in rebuilding an air compressor. Brass is too flimsy and has broke in use. As well the new hot dog compressors are glued together with garbage and leak. My old one ran better and stainless steel makes for a lot better build.

Great price for a great fitting. Very well made. Smooth finish. Threads are perfect. This thing is not your average hardware store variety....this is the real deal professional heavy duty quality and much bigger and sturdier than something you would buy from local hardware store. The price is best on the internet but still expensive.
