5.0 out of 5 stars Microwave Rice
I liked that it’s easy to make and it taste just like home made, the texture is sticky which I love.I don’t have any dislikes about this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy and convenient
This is good quality rice that is cooked perfectly and ready to eat after microwaving. It's perfect when you just need a single serving and don't want to cook a whole pot of rice, or forgot to cook rice, or you need to take rice on the go.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Convenient
I do Keto, but I will sometimes eat a little rice, like fried rice for instance. These are small sized, perfect for quick meals! I used to buy this brand in bag form when I made Japanese food years ago, it is a top notch brand, perfect every time.
5.0 out of 5 stars So handy
Great tasting sticky rice ready in a minute and a half. No more ruined over cooked, or undercooked rice.
4.0 out of 5 stars Taste and Texture Satisfying
Taste and texture comes real close to rice from a rice cooker. It’s not gummy and sticky nor is it dry like long grain rice. Microwaved for a minute in a 900 watt microwave and it was good to go. I separated the rice to cool off faster and so it wouldn’t clump together. Covered the leftover with a wet paper towel in the same container then sealed in a zip lock. No issues, am pleased with purchase. Tried 3 different brands so far. I like this brand most of all.
5.0 out of 5 stars Cooking Single
If you are looking for instant Japanese rice, this is it! As a single person, there is no point in cooking rice in a rice cooker since it just goes to waste. Since I have been cooking Nishiki rice for years, I decided to stick with the same brand for instant rice as well. It is fast (90 seconds) and easy (throw it in the microwave). I only eat half a bowl, so it lasts me 2 days. However, there is one thing I noticed, and that is if you eat the rice without having anything to drink or eat, completely on its own, there is a bit of a bitter aftertaste. It may just be me since I didn't see anyone else mention in the review, and I am sensitive to taste. Other than that, I highly recommend these rice bowls to others.
5.0 out of 5 stars stupid easy
bro. why are you buying pre-cooked rice. its sooooo easy to cook yourself. lol I bought it. and its great. so go figure.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really awesome!
This is definitely worth the price! I would pay double for it in Europe!!! The taste is just like making home cooked Japanese rice from Japan or Hawaii. Just throw it in the microwave for about a 1 1/2 minutes and it’s done. Really easy to cook. The portion size is good for the price since it is ready to eat after warming it up a bit. The texture and stickiness is just like the rice you would commonly find in most Japanese-Hawaiian dishes. I’ve made a variety of spam, chicken, and hotdog Musubi’s. I also made a lot of Bento lunch boxes with this rice. It saves a lot of time than making a pot of rice if you’re in a rush and you really want to eat rice.
Way overpriced at $34.95
Product is good, however in the Vancouver area Asian grocery stores, the same 6 pack sells for $17.94.Outrageous mark-up on Bolo!!!
