The media could not be loaded. So I read a ton of reviews and online articles before purchasing the right water and stain protector for suede. I purchased some more expensive sneakers and really wanted to take care of them but was so nervous it was make them smell or discolor the suede or even worse, do both of those things and still just not work at all. After reading numerous reviews I came across this product and saw one or two other reviews talking about suede and how the color didn’t change. Received the product today and immediately opened it up and sprayed a test spot on a cheaper pair of sneakers - magic, the color didn’t change at all but the smell was super strong. So I took my sneakers outside, sprayed two pairs down and tried to get a good base coat. Left them for 30 minutes outside then brought them back in. No smell at all after 30 minutes. Pleasantly surprised and happy! Was nervous the strong smell would stay but it didn’t at all! Finally, did the water test, and as you can see in the video it just bounces right off the suede toe and does nothing to the shoe. I was so excited and definitely happy with my purchase. Can say, this worked wonders on my high end shoes that I was super nervous to use it on but wanted to protect! This stuff is gold and I will certainly be using it on more of my personal items. I have a suede bag I think it’ll protect amazingly! So excited

I purchased this SAPHIR Super Invulner and applied it on several fine leather shoes including silk. I have half a can left after applying the product to 3 pairs of shoes. *disclosure, all leather had been treated with SAPHIR mink conditioner crème before the application*Application steps: As directed I went to a ventilated area to apply the spray (I did this in my open garage and wore a mask). On the first couple pairs I applied the spray at a length of 12 inches away and had no issues. I did cover any embellishment with clear tape & stuffed the insides with tissue paper prior to spraying. I followed the directions and waited 30min between each layer. I applied 2 layers of the protectant to the calf leather shoes in the pictures attached. This product didn’t change the feel or look of the shoes at all!Moreover, I purchased this protectant due to claims of clear application, durability, and safe use on fragile textiles. So far all claims are TRUE, as I was able to apply 3 coats to my silk shoes as well, with no residue marks left behind (see attached photo). Overall I believe this product is worth the money to apply to luxury goods. I’m so pleased with its ability to be applied to delicate textiles that I will be applying this on handbag handles as well.Recommendations:If you apply this product and notice any residue or marks you are applying the product to close. However, don’t fret! If you have done this misstep on leather you can take a soft chamois cloth and gently wipe the residue away before applying other layers. I would highly encourage if you’re applying this product on any delicate textiles (such as suede or silk) apply it from the recommended 12 in or greater away. This is because you may not be able to buff/wipe away any marks from user error.

It's a bit more expensive than other options, but is also better than most of the cheaper options. Worthwhile for nicer dressier shoes, not worthwhile for a hiking or work boot where looks matter less.

I used this waterproofer on several pair of brand new Puma Suede sneakers. I wanted to waterproof and stain proof them before I wore them. I took them outside and sprayed them like the instructions on the can say. After leaving them outside to dry, I brought the shoes inside and tested all of them with some water on the suede. The water just beaded right off the shoes quickly and like magic.The suede did not darken or lighten on my Pumas. I made sure to spray the shoes like the instructions to ensure I didn't ruin the suede. I did not over saturate, and also made sure I sprayed far enough away from the shoe.I recommend this Saphir Invulner, and I have ordered two more cans for the rest of my shoes. I wish it was not so expensive though. $31.95 per can is steep.

I use the SAPHIR Medaille d’Or Super Invulner on my collection of Christian Louboutin suede boots, particularly for thigh-high pairs. One can is perfect for covering a pair thoroughly, ensuring they are well-protected. After applying enough spray, spills and rain roll right off without any discoloration or staining to the suede. The spray is especially great because it doesn’t alter the texture or color of the shoes. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to protect high-end suede footwear from the elements!

Used this product are using the Suede spray. It works!!! obviously be smart how do you spray this. obviously be smart how do you spray this do not spray this to close or overspray anything. Less is more. works extremely well was very surprised. literally grabbed a water bottle and poured water over my jacket, suede and all the water repelled like butter. I clean and water proof my leather shoes and boots every year in the fall. It’s the first time using this brand and I’m very happy it works well without the lingering smell. I do believe it prolongs the life of my nice leather footwear.
