I love love love this hair color. You can see in my pictures, where my ends were orangeish. The picture of me in the green shirt was immediately after dying my hair. Beautiful coloring. I love the foam application, it made it so easy to apply. Literally no complaints at all! (I do wish the conditioner that they gave was a bigger bottle, since it says to use it for several weeks after. There’s just not enough.) but no complaints regarding the hair color.

I have been coloring my hair for atleast 15 years . I have done everything from red to brown to bleaching it off LITERALLY . My hair is SO damaged and so I have to be careful. I also am 100% Grey! This color made my hair so soft..one bottle did Mt whole head with left over color left in the bottle ! And I jave THICK LONG HAIR. It was honestly like a magic trick ! The color is beautiful and it looks natural ! I will never buy another color or brand again!

John Frieda's Deep Cherry Brown (3VR) and Deep Brown Black (3N) have been my absolute go to at home solutions for color since I started trying to cover up greys in 2011. YES, the redder shade seems to take a bit more care to make it last longer than the brown/black shade. That is typical even of professional color, which is how I first had any dye applied to my hair. Red just wears quicker, period. HOWEVER...what I like about this particular box color is that as it lightens up, it goes from a hint of red indoors to really pretty black cherry when outside, and any greys that I've developed just look like highlights of sorts. Post-color, my hair always feels soft and looks shiny! Watching family members use dye that drips and smells and burns (no matter which brand) has me convinced that foam is simply the way to go! The only times this foam has NOT covered grey, was an application miss on my part, not the foam itself. This is great for touchups or to make those expensive professional coloring sessions extend a bit. The only downside is that the awesome black latex gloves they used to include now seem to have been swapped out for some gloves that don't fit at all. Get yourself a box of good gloves from CVS and you're set for the easiest at home hair color, period.

This is the first time trying foam hair color. It was easy to use and not as messy as the traditional hair color. Matched my natural hair color.

I still love this hair color, it's identical to my natural color and it grows out like nothing is even there, however this time my grey hairs were not covered, I still see them, not a huge problem but i was hoping to have grey coverage for at least a couple of weeks, i suppose it is pointless to continue to buy now. :(

Covers grey
I've been using this product for a couple of years now. The color is nice, it's easy to apply and lasts fairly long. Make sure to really saturate your hair and leave it on for the full time they recommend. I find it covers grey quite well.

great dye, easy to mix and apply. very good colour results and pleasant to use. great product.this dark brown is very dark , almost black so bear that in mind depending on what end result you expect.
