My SIUV was running hard and I gave this a try. It works wonders, my SUV runs so much better. I highly recommend this product.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works really good
I’ve used this for several years in my Honda goldwing and riding mower. Keeps fuel fresh through the winter months
5.0 out of 5 stars More get up and go!! Better mpg to boot.
I bought this, the first time, by accident for my lawnmower. Once I realized what it was I decided not to use it in the lawnmower, but dump it in my car. I really didn't expect anything. Boy was I wrong!! At first, obviously, there was little change, but after 30 minutes or so I pulled out from a side street onto a main road and was caught completely by surprise when my car took off like greased lightening!! Much stronger than I was normally accustomed to.My car has a 6.1L Hemi, so it's a big engine with lots of power to begin with (425hp). The difference in power and responsiveness from the engine after adding this stuff was simply incredible. That's not the best part though. The biggest surprise (to me) was the increase in gas mileage. I normally run between 13.5 and 14.0 mpg around town and 20.0 to 22.0 on the highway. I"ve not had a chance to check my highway mileage, but around town I'm now getting between 14.8 and 16.5!! Not a big deal you say? Think about it. The smallest increase is almost 10%, the largest is nearly 22%.Okay, in different terms. I have to run premium fuel, which is real close to $4/gal. Let's say the increase is only 1 mpg. Over the course of one tank of fuel (16 gals), that is nearly a gallon of gas saved. Total savings. $4. It nearly pays for itself, reduces the amount of fuel I burn, thus less emissions, and it gives me more power. Can't argue that logic! Better yet, using the best case scenario of 3 mpg increase, the savings really adds up. 3 mpg * 16 gals = 48 miles. 48 miles / 16 mpg = 3 gals. 3 gals * $4 = $12. This stuff is now saving me money. On average, I find the savings I receive from using this stuff far exceeds its cost.Yes I have ran a tank of gas through the car w/o using this product since, and yes I noticed a difference, both mileage and power. My next experiment is to put it in the minivan. Maybe I'll report back again then.If you would have told me this stuff would make a difference I would have called it snake oil. All I can say is, go buy one bottle and you WILL notice a difference. You'll pay about $8/bottle at your local parts store though.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great American made product!
Extends the freshness of gas for a year and protects engibe from ethanol. Much cheaper than buying Truefuel.
5.0 out of 5 stars Made noticeable difference after using it
I bought this to see if I could eliminate a check engine light issue on a seldom used pickup due to misfiring from old gas. I didn’t want to throw away a half tank of gas if I could avoid it, so I used this additive and topped off the tank with fresh, high octane fuel. It fixed the problem, and the truck runs noticeably smoother. Aside from driving the truck more and eventually getting fresher gas in the tank, I intend to keep using this additive at fill-ups for a while to help the engine run smoother.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good item
Appears to be a good product and it works well.
5.0 out of 5 stars great product for lawnmowers and other carburated engines.
I try not to use ethanol typ gas in my riding lawn mowers and other small engines. Even though I try to use non ethanal gasoline I alway add the required amount of stabilizer to my gas can before I refill it at the station. I is great for storage up to one year to avoid stale gas effects in you small engine carbs. Stabil is about half the price of Sea Foam which is good for up to two years storage. My grandson put regular untreated ethanol gas in a new pressure washer with a Honda engine on it and let it sit without running the carb dry. Next time we went to use it, it would not run. A trip to the fixit shop cost almost $120 to have the carb rebuilt. I also had two self propelled lawn mowers that had the same thing happen and it took new carbs to get them up and running again. He has been schooled on the need to use either non ethanol gas and use stabilizer in the approbriate mixture so the carb jets and parts do not get gummed up when stored improperly.
5.0 out of 5 stars Angry at first! Not so anymore.
I bought a 6 pack of the 360 PROTECTION. Then I suspected it was just an ethanol fuel stabilizer. On the label it didn't claim to clean fuel components. However, I went to the manufacturers website. This product does indeed clean the engine. And it does contain PEA! Hooray, redemption is at hand. I use 4 oz in my tank every fill up. That comes to 8 tankfuls of gasoline for one bottle of STA-BIL 360 Protection. For me, that's almost 3 months. And I bought a 6 pack from Bolo. Peace of mind at an affordable price.
Works great for me over last couple years
Not an engineer so can’t attest to how well it protects against ethanol etc but far as I can tel it works great. Even just storage use it keeps the fuel in good shape, bike and other small engines fire right up with no hesitation or issues after longer term storage.Definitely worth the protection of your engines for the small cost
Great
Good value
Fuel stabiliser.
Bought to use in my classic motorcycle. Can’t hear or feel any change in the engine, but that’s a good thing.
Good
So far it seems good. Bought this to reduce the effects of ethanol in fuel. Rust in my petrol tank has reduced a bit. Will update a detailed review in future.
Just what we need to combat Trudeau's obsession with ethanol!
I have three older vehicles, made in the 1960's and 70's. They were never designed to run on ethanol gas. You can read about the horrors of what ethanol does: dissolve rubber parts, eat through steel gas tanks, four up carburetors etc. This product seems to protect our older cars from the harmful effects of ethanol. Without it we would not be able to use our classic cars.Thank you for providing such a valuable product!
