This rubs in good with no sticky residue, and helps with sleep. I use for knees and back.This is the first time i used gel based magnesium, i usually use lotion magnesium, but the gel absorbs well and has no scent.

I bought this to make a hair regrowth serum with my doTERRA essential oils. Since it takes time to grow hair I can't attest to the fact that it is working. Fingers crossed it does. I bought Ancient Minerals last year for not just pain relief but also for sleep issues. It works great, so I imagine this brand would as well. This one, since it's a gel, would probably work great in homemade magnesium lotion! I bought this gel one because the other brand i bought is watery and i wanted something thicker to put on my scalp. It has a slight smell but not stinky, maybe it's a hint of the seaweed that's in it? The only problem I have is that there is purified water in it, so that kind of dilutes the magnesium which is why I use the other brand to spray on my body.

I’m not do sure this product is working for me. I may just need to use more quantity. My massage therapist used it on my feet and I enjoyed a refreshing nap afterward, so ordered. I haven’t experienced the same sleep effect since, so have tried it for muscle aches. It has a subtle effect.

I've had spasms & Charlie horses for years (mostly in my calves & thighs). I tried this topical magnesium chloride gel, as a PREVENTATIVE, and the stuff really works. I've given it to friends, who've shared it with their respective spouses & they've had similar success after applying it to their skin. I apply it to my legs & underarms (to get more of it into my system) after my shower; it also helps give me a good night's sleep. It will sting if you apply it to broken skin so if you shave, give your skin a day to recover before applying it in a particular area. There is salt residue - they get the stuff from the ocean. There are other magnesium chloride gels/lotions/oils, etc. but I prefer this brand & texture. You'll have to experiment but I cannot recommend this product HIGHLY ENOUGH. It doesn't smell bad & IT WORKS.
