Not a high quality item. Very disappointing . It deformed after pulling gas in it, and leaks at seal where line hooks up. Tried several ways to correct this. I’m a boater of 37 plus years and owned countless boats I have restored. Wish I could find steel gas storage. This one has my whole garage stinking of gas. Have to open doors on it

Thought I saved a few bucks, but all this tank did is cost me 5 gallons worth of fuel, time and aggravation having to clean my boat that STILL stinks like gas. The cap does not vent correctly, and the tank swelled and leaked from around the gasket near the fitting. Wish I would've caught it before it decided to leak 5 gallons out within two days. What the point of marine certifications if it DOESN'T WORK. If this tank was left at a dock/moor it would be 5 gallons IN THE WATER. Complete junk and unacceptable.

I would highly recommend you to look for an old boat tank gas tank. They are thicker than the new ones. This would work good if it is a concealed well ventilated area. Same as my factory one , but no guage in fuel cap and had to buy threaded Mercury fitting for tank. I KNEW THIS BEFORE PURCHASING THOUGH , SO NO ISSUES SO FAR

I clicked the cap so it does one click as instructed yet in the sun it doesn't seem to auto ventilate. Maybe it doesn't build up enough pressure but it definitely inflates and I end up unscrewing cap to relieve.Quality other than that is excellent.
