About this item:
Hammock Bliss Sky Tent 2 (ST2) is a revolution in the making, bringing hammock camping to a new level of comfort and convenience. Stay dry from the rain, safe from the bugs with ample space for you and your gear. ST2 acts as a tent for your hammock off the ground and can accommodate up to 2 hammocks so both you and a friend can hang together. The oversized rip stop rain fly provides complete protection from the rain for both your hammock and your gear. 2100 holes per square inch no-see-um netting keeps out the smallest bugs and reduces the chilling effect of the wind. The current version of ST2 features some big updates including the new V shaped door. The new V door rolls up and can be toggled on top to allow easier access to the interior space. Double pull YKK zippers make it a breeze to get into and out of your sky space. 138” / 350 cm of 6mm climbing rope provide a secure ridgeline below the rain fly. The climbing rope extends 80” /203 cm outward on each side to securely hang your Sky Tent. A prusik knot allows you to tension the ridgeline and move the rope from one side of the Sky Tent to the other. There is 100" / 250 cm of cord on the 4 corners of the rain fly with ladder lock buckles for easy tensioning. The Sky Tent base layer or floor is now made with the same waterproof rip stop nylon as the rain fly and this layer helps retain body heat and provides storage for light weight gear. We redesigned the shape of the floor to mirror the rectangular shape of most sleeping pads and added loops at the 4 exterior corners. If you want to use your Sky Tent as a conventional ground tent, you can on easily stake out the 4 exterior corners of the floor and use a hiking pole to hold up one or both ends of the rain fly. There is plenty of space in the waterproof stuff sack to fit your Sky Tent, straps and any sized hammock. Join the Sky Tent revolution - hammock camping will never be the same. NOTE - Hammocks are sold separately and are not included with ST2.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great alternative to a traditional tent
I bought this after discovering that my back liked a hammock more than a cold ground even despite having multiple pads to sleep on. This is a great hammock supplement. Keeps the bugs out. Don't know how well it keeps water out. The first night I used it, I was still cold in my 15 degree Fahrenheit down bag. In particular my back and the backs of my legs froze. The following night, I used a blow up sleeping pad underneath the sleeping bag and on top of the hammock and I was incredibly warm, all night. The only complaint I have is that it took me a few attempts to get the hammock hung at an appropriate height such that the pressure was taken off of the parts of the tent that the hammock ropes pass through. I am well over 200lbs and had to hike the hammock up higher up the tree than the hammock rope holes a few times to get it right. After finding the appropriate height, the pressure was taken off of the tent and all was right with it.I really liked the rope that runs thought the top of the tent. I used it to hang all sorts of swag, a small battery powered lantern and a bottle of water.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great idea for summer hammock camping
This is a great concept and I look forward to getting it out in the woods to set it up! It will keep you dry and bug free! Only weights a little over 2lbs too.6/15/15 - I was finally able to use this hammock tent and I was quite pleased with it. It served its purpose in keeping bugs away. I can not report on keeping you dry in rainy weather but the tarp could be a little wider in my opinion. I hung it correctly the first time with only slight modifications. It's quick and easy to put up and down too. My 21 YO son and I stayed in it and it is cramped for 2 large adults but it can be done so long as one sleeps one direction and the other person sleeps the other. The top hammock needs to be quite tight and only 6 inches or so from the ridge peak for it to work with 2 hammocks. The bottom one then just so long as you're a couple feet off the ground you're good.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Combination for Hammock Camping
I have had this setup for 7 years and taken it on various hammock camping trips. I am a larger person so I never tried bunk bed style with 2 hammocks, but everything has held up great. Even the rain-resistant coating is still working. The stitching is heavy and the lines that come with it seem to be heavy duty. My only complaint is that the main ridgeline is a little short for some thicker trees so I need to supplement with extra line.My favorite feature is the nylon pad that sits on the ground - this can be used for a backpack or random belongings. I miss this the most when using a traditional bug net/rain fly combination. Also a big fan of the pockets built into the bug net. I'll drop my phone or contact case into these pockets.

5.0 out of 5 stars I love this tent!
I bought this and a hammock bliss single hammock before a camping trip because I was tired of sleeping on the ground while out camping with my friends. Took me a little while to figure out the best way to hang it with the hammock but I finally got it right. Basically I tie the hammock high enough that it is barely touching the ridge line in the sky tent and after hopping in and letting it sink a little it is the perfect height for me. First time I took it out camping I was the only one of the four of us with a hammock and needless to say they were all a little jealous. Since the sky tent can hold 2 hammocks one of them bought a hammock and hung with me on the next trip. Overall I have used it four times so far and it is pretty amazing. I wish they made one with the inside completely closed off instead of the bug-netting because I feel like it would keep the wind off you better in lower temp camping. Overall though it's a great product that I can't endorse enough.
1.0 out of 5 stars cheap
Was not satisfied at all it didnt cone with the two hammocks and it started to rip before i even set it up... I am very dissatisfied...
2.0 out of 5 stars Handle with care- Ripped!
My daughter and I used this for the first time Saturday evening. We have 2 Grand Trunk Double hammocks and thought this would be a fun alternative to our huge 2 room family tent. With the 2 hammocks it was pretty tight quarters, we had to adjust the height and levelness of our hammocks alot to get enough room. IMMEDIATELY after setting up the corner loop ripped. I didn't test the others because they are all sewn the same way. It does not come with stakes and would be useless without them. Overall I would say to handle this with care the stitching and materials are not very durable.
