5.0 out of 5 stars Protect Your Stone Surfaces with STONETECH Bulletproof Sealer: A Worthwhile Investment
I recently invested in the STONETECH Bulletproof Sealer, and let me tell you, it's worth every penny. While it may be a bit more expensive compared to other brands, the results speak for themselves. This 1 pint/16 oz. bottle goes a long way in protecting my stone surfaces, whether it's countertops, floors, or backsplashes. The sealer creates a powerful barrier against stains, water damage, and everyday wear and tear, ensuring that my stone surfaces remain looking pristine for years to come. What sets the STONETECH Bulletproof Sealer apart is its durability and longevity. Unlike some other sealers that require frequent reapplication, this one provides long-lasting protection, saving both time and money in the long run.The application process is straightforward; I simply applied the sealer with a sponge brush, let it dry, and now I can enjoy peace of mind knowing that my stone surfaces are well-protected.Overall, I highly recommend the STONETECH Bulletproof Sealer to anyone looking for top-notch protection for their stone surfaces. While it may come with a slightly higher price tag, the quality and durability it provides make it a worthwhile investment.
5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to apply, GREAT results
We installed a new marble counter / vanity in our renovated bathroom and the marble supply house recommended the Stonetech Bulletproof sealer. We have used other Stonetech products: Revitalizer and Stone and Tile Cleaner, and they have proven to be superior in their results. The Cleaner is fabulous. which we use on our porcelain tile and granite kitchen counters. All Stonetech products are on Bolo. Stonetech notes their products have the correct P/H balance without harsh chemicals like in some supermarket stone clearers, and I trust Dupont in this respect. After 4 years using Revitalizer and Stone Cleaner on our granite it looks like the day we installed it - bright shiny finish and resistive to anything we might 'throw' or drop on it.The Bulletproof Sealer went on without any issues and the results were fabulous. I had never done this before, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The 'Sealer' penetrates and seals the marble to resist spotting and discoloration, so you have to give it time to penetrate during each application. When you apply the sealer, some areas absorb more and other don't, and remain wet, which is why they tell you towel dry it after each appellation. The process requires a few applications, and Stonetech has clear and concise instructions online. Our counter was 8' X 2' with a backsplash, not very big, so rather than use a paint roller or paint brush (as recommended), I bought (at Home Depot) a square applicator made for edging paint, which includes some helpful rollers, so you can edge right up to wall without smearing the sealer on your painted walls. The pad on the applicator worked perfectly and after 3 applications I followed the instructions and waited just a few minutes for the sealer to dry on the last application and quickly buffed/toweled the sealer to a nice clear shine. If you don't follow this last step, you will be left with a dull streaky finish. For any area that did not buff out completely clear, apply a bit more sealer and buff again. The results were fantastic, and the marble has a nice shine with all of it's natural characteristics of unique veins and coloring. The one issue they mention is that you must let the sealer completely dry before using the area....they recommend 6-12+ hours....I did this on a Sunday afternoon, watched a football game during the applications and by Monday morning it was ready to use. Total application time 3 NFL football quarters, or about 2 hours in non football time.
4.0 out of 5 stars WORKS WELL ON LIGHT POROSITY
this product was applied to a granite counter top as the original company who processed the granite did not put enough sealer leaving slight porosity. the counter had a shine but rough feel. I applied two coats of the Bulletproof sealer. It does work but the counter top would need multiple coats. I did apply this product to another part of the less porous area and it gave a nice coat to it. Follow the directions! I used a pantbrush which worked fine. I timed the first coat per directions and the result is perfect. There are no fumes with this product probably because it is water based. Definitely recommend this for more of a "coating" than a heavy duty sealer. I intend to use the Dupont Impregnator Pro on the very porous area.
5.0 out of 5 stars Effective and easy to apply
This is good stuff for white granite countertops, which are very porous because of the character of the stone. The secret to putting it on, in addition to adequate preparation, is to put it on fairly heavily--and keep stroking it so that no areas dry out. They dry out either because not enough was put on initially or it has soaked into the stone (which is the whole idea)--or because something else already has soaked into that spot.I use a wide polybrush, and a clean cottage cheese carton as brush holder and reservoir for the sealer. Watch the clock--it does need 10-15 minutes. My countertops had been sealed with a different (less effective and less pricey) DuPont product 18 months ago and I needed only one coat of this stuff, which I hope will last the claimed 3-5 years. I did put on a second coat, but it didn't appear to sink in so I suspect wasn't essential. This dries quickly and was ready to use, lightly, in 6 hours (70+ degree house with AC on). I let it cure 24 before going back to "normal" use. This might take longer in cooler or more humid conditions. One note: Nowhere does this product claim to stop water from darkening the granite if the water sits on it. No sealer will do that. But plain water will evaporate without causing a stain. What this sealer does do is prevent staining liquids from getting into the pores of the stone and taking up residence forever. Using cleaners other a granite cleaner or very mild soap and water will reduce the effectiveness of any sealer sooner. I found some great information on all this on the website of the Natural Stone Institute.
Poduct needs to be applied under correct temperatures and over a 15-20 minute time period.
I used this product to seal a 40 year old terrazzo table. It will need a further coat in the spring to ensure the table is properly sealed.

Works well. Not very strong odor. Dries quickly ...
Works well. Not very strong odor. Dries quickly when first applied, so I would not apply it in direct sunlight, since it has to be kept wet for 15 minutes when first applying. The size is more than needed for a small granite section, but will last for a long time.
Good one
Good sealer a bit thick.
Works well and easy to use!
Great product! We tried other brands sold at the big box hardware store and they failed to work. Follow as directed and you should not have problems.
