About this item:
Perfect for making flat lightweight items magnetic. Magnet requires direct and full contact with steel for maximum hold, therefore it is best to make sure that magnet is flat. Magnet & adhesive work best when applied at above 60 degrees Fahrenheit or 15.56 degree Celsius. For best results: 1)Allow magnet to reach room temperature then cut magnet with heavy duty scissors or hobby knife. 2)Apply magnet's dark gray side to large metal surface for several hours to flatten curl. Do not roll magnet strip in opposite direction to remove curl. 3)Clean applicable surface for adhesive with isopropyl alcohol and allow to dry. 4)Peel back liner from the adhesive and place item on adhesive. 5)Apply adhesive to surface with firm pressure 6)Allow adhesive to cure for a minimum of 24 hours or 72 hours to reach maximum bond with surface.

5.0 out of 5 stars Use it all the time!
I use this all the time tomagnetize classroom items. This magnet tape is sturdy and gets the job done.
5.0 out of 5 stars Strong enough
Easily cut using scissors.
4.0 out of 5 stars Doesn’t work for MagLev science fair project
In case you were looking to use this for a MagLev science fair project you’ll need to look elsewhere. This is not a Monopolar magnet strip but a bipolar one. We also couldn’t change the polarity by using a rare earth magnet so in the end we used this as tracks to put the strong magnets with different magnetic N/S poles on each side.As far as a magnetic strip goes this was alright. It isn’t that strong but would work on basic conditions (such as hanging papers, pictures, etc.). The tape backing also worked well and was strong.
5.0 out of 5 stars Holds perfect
Love this magnetic tape. Holds everything I need it too.
1.0 out of 5 stars HORRIBLE product!!! JUNK! Do not buy! Ruined $90 of plexiglass!!!
This product was HORRIBLE! I used it to hang up a VERY light piece of plexiglass that, according to the product, weighed well under the weight limit of what this should hold up. Well, the adhesive did NOT stick to the wall - my plexiglass fell THREE TIMES and hit the floor hard. Then, I tried to get the adhesive off the plexiglass, and it STUCK to the plexiglass and RUINED $90 of plexiglass sheets! I had to throw the plexiglass in the trash. $90 down the drain due to this horrible product! I want my money back!!!
3.0 out of 5 stars Needs better stick
This product was easy to use, but the adhesive was not appropriate for anything over the weight of paper. I had to use a different product to make it stick. Magnet was very effective and clung well to metal walls.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works
Good Value
5.0 out of 5 stars handy to have in the shop.
For the price this is a useful and handy thing to have in the shop or around the house. I bought this to put on some metal rulers to help with layout in my fabrication shop. Should work just fine.
Good product
Magnetic strip not strong enough for the use I wanted but works for many other projects
Who Would Have Thought This Was Available
This is a miracle DIY, to me. No more scrintch, crackle, rip of velcro. No more, "Ugh, I just ripped the paint off my wall...for the fourth time". No more fearing your stuff is going to fall off the wall that your object is scotched tape, masking tape, or 3M plastered to unforgiving surfaces. I can move this around quickly and soundlessly. Magnet with sticky. That's gotta be the best pairing in the world. I'm just saying.
Good tape
Installed this on an RV cabinet wood panel to replace screws. Used metal tape on the cabinet side. Some of the strips I put on ended up peeling off, but a small amount of Weldbond glue insured that they stay in place.
Bueno y funcional
