5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent results, pleasant to work with.
I have both an old pair of Florsheim oxford brogues shoes that have been sadly neglected over the 20 years that I have owned them. I also have a newer causual/hipster tan brogue that has only the front finished and the remainder colored but otherwise unfinished. I purchased the leather salve to revive the old and to protect the new pair. I washed both with saddle soap and dried, then applied the Otterwax leather salve and allowed that to dry. Both the soap with its oils and the salve darkened the leather but not too much. The salve itself goes on smoothly, was readily absorbed by the leather and had a pleasant fragrance. A little does go a long way. After letting it dry and buffing off the excess both shoes looked great. The leather looked nourished and smooth, and the old cordovan brogues came to life. I followed with a treatment with the Otterwax leather oil and allowed that to absorb. Honestly these shoes didn't really need wax after that. The tan shoes lightened up after a day or so but remained supple. The old shoes got a good waxing and look great. Now they clean-up well and take waxing readily. I now use the leather oil on all my shoes the night before I wax them. I highly recommend these products. They are nice to work with and really do the job. I am going to test the salve out on my ageing leather recliner next. P.S. I have no idea why the Bolo review form asks shoe questions and yes I have a lazy dog! P.P.S.-I did try the salve on an old recliner and It worked great. Really brought the leather back to life. It took two applications but the leather is soft and pliable. Definitely worth using this stuff on any leather goods.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works Well
I had a Black Leather couch that has experienced 3 cats over time. The product made the scratches hard to see and moisturized the leather. While you can still see the damage, it's not obvious and the leather is nice and shiny. After applying and letting it sit for about an hour, make sure you buff out. The shine will reduce but the leather will look good. Well worth the labor.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works good smells funny
The media could not be loaded. So far it seems like it’s working great! I will update if something changes.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very Nice
Applied to a leather chair using a round brush. Went on easily and it did not change the darkness of the leather at all.
5.0 out of 5 stars Costs a bit more, but very much worth it.
Prior to giving this a shot, I used the "Leather Milk" brand on gloves which are used in a cooler with cold/wet environment. The gloves were getting stiff and leather milk did not help at all. I then got this Otter Wax which costs a bit more per ounce, but it's a night and day difference. I applied the Otter Wax with a microfiber towel which magically removed 90% of the grunge on it, something Leather Milk never did. After sitting overnight, the gloves were as smooth and supple as they were when they were brand new. Unfortunately, some small cracks had formed at the knicle joints and otter wasx couldn' tree attach leather cracks, they failed at the 6 month mark.I replaced the gloves with the exact same size/type/brand and immediately put otter wax on them. Now I'm nearing the 1 year mark with it and they're still smooth and supple without a hint of cracking. I wipe them down with a damp cloth of water only once a week, and then apply the otter wax. This has saved me more than the cost of the tine at least 2x over and will continue to it seems. Even being fastidious and going every other day with Leather Milk, they stayed stiff and hard. Otter wax corrected that in a mere 24 hours. I am even still on my first tin, though it's getting really close to empty.T

Great value for your money. Works really good. Made my leather goods look new!
3.0 out of 5 stars Not waterproof imo
Yes it conditions the leather and help touch up the water resistance in my boots. It only lasted about two days though. Pretty disappointing...
5.0 out of 5 stars Shines, conditions, smells nice!
This stuff is great, the leather soaks it right up! Smells good, goes on easily, is a reasonable price, and easy to store. No more stinky, big bottles of goop.
Very happy with product I have used it before.
Used to condition old Barber strops works great.
Still cloudy even after polishing with soft cloth.
As per the instruction, after the leather absorbed the wax it became cloudy so I used a soft polishing cloth to polish it for half an hours and it still look cloudy/ fade out. Will be getting a horse hair brush to try again.
very light on the skin, does not clog but moisturizes well!
has a pleasant smell and is easy to apply.
Product works great. Received wrong size
Otter Wax does a great job of renewing the look of my Blundstones. Works much better than the Blundstone cream. Only negative comment is that the container is smaller than the size posted in the ad. Apparently this is common with this product. Contacted the seller - Otter Wax, they blamed Bolo and would not send me the proper size.
Works well
Easy to use and it made my full-grain leather purse supple. Echoing with other reviewers, use it sparingly. There was slight darkening of the leather after this cream but totally worth it for the awesome results!
